Well played, the stop at the end was absolutely excellent. Just try to tidy up the sync of the piping, as it was slightly off when you were marching in.
@@AngusOnkel The original air was titled, as Gaeilge, Fáinne geal an lae.......literally, the bright ring of day. Patrick Kavanagh wrote the poem Raglan Road and someone-don't know who-set it to the air of Fáinne geal an lae. A definitive version of the song was created by the late Luke Kelly of The Dubliners. A actual yank band who wear the correct Irish dress. Saffron kilt and caubeens. Unlike the plastics in NYC St Patrick's Day parading around in full Scottish tartan/highland dress. Clueless 🤣
Great old Irish tunes. Long may we hear them
Love this band, the dress, the swing of the saffron. The old tunes are always the best tunes.
HOT DAMN!!!! IF YOUR HEART WASN'T PUMPIN' IT WILL DURING THIS SONG!!! LONG LIVE EIRINN!!!!!!!!
I love this , as a former would be piper I would have been proud to have been a member of this band, and to wear The Saffron Kilt.🤗🤗🤗🤗
Fantastic, great music, well played, and the presentation really enjoyable, thanks for the great work you put into this.
Eire-4-Ever.
A good auld bhlast- fair play.
"Oh, and he's got a beard."
That's how you know they mean business.
Very Good
Slow march of the Irish Guards
Go and that it may seem so you know it can happen.

Well played Lads.... even I prefer to call the last tune its origin.... Raglan Road :-)
Raglan road was first performed to that tune in 1971. The original tune, the dawning of the day, was written in 1847
@@snugent0113.... Actually... Would surprise me.... Glad to know 🙂
@@snugent0113.... Dawning of the day is also among in lyrics 🙂

There's no such thing as an Irish kilt.

@@smck001 Its cloose enough to an irish leine which is what it would look like with just the lower half a kilt.
Don't they want to be American ?.
