Buckin and Hogan....you guy's just made my day.......so good to see my saw run again, she heated my house for many years.....also Billy good to see you look after that injury....smart. I pretty sure she is 80"s thx again would be nice to see cut again sometime.....great video guys :-))
Alpina, Efco, Olympyk are all universal because Italian people believe that the SOB should run. When your saw is broken just use the parts for the other saw. No need to deal with Stihl or Husqvarna and some junk that costs tons of money. Just decent priced replacement parts and a saw that runs just as good as any other European brands. I run a Alpina 42cc and it cuts oak limbs for firewood like equal to a Stihl or Husqvarna and a great olive tree trimmer. :) Have fun with that saw probably uses less fuel also.
I'd love to see you run that Italian saw against some of the other others your got there. In Italy there is alot of olive, oak, locust and teak so the saws got to chomps some hard stuff good.
olympic doesn't exist any more, was bought from Oleo -Mac (Emak and Efco are the same family) , Alpina never been really good, I don't know if it still exist. our chainsaw are a bit RAW compare with Husky and Sthil, personally I never heard any profetional faller is using anything but Husky or Sthill here in Italy.
Alpina has been using parts from China for about 5 years. But same with Stihl uses parts from China just Husqvarna does alot of their own product in their home plant. I have been using an Alpina AC42.4cc for 4 months almost everyday and have not had any problems with it and switched the spark plug from my Stihl into the Alpina and that worked also! :)
The problem with Stihl in Italy is the saws are from Germany. So there should be a warranty garantee on all their saws. But when you call the Germany Munich office they tell you it is only for the people that live in Germany. Stihl has been replacing reimbursing new saws to Germany citizens to avoid lawsuits because their is a clause in their laws to replace broken products for free and it does not matter how old the saw is.
That's a cool looking saw. I love 80's saws, Because there the era of saws that was around when I was a young kid. I love all my dads jonsereds that have been around my whole life he used to cut wood commercially and had wood business. I've just bought a late 80's 535, I can see myslef having a jonsered collection much like your mac collection. Why is old stuff so cool and addicting!
Some people watch tv, some do puzzles at night, me, I LOVE getting an old saw that hasn’t run for years take it apart, clean her up, and get her running. there’s no better way to keep the ol grey matter working on a rainy night in Scotland, and we get a few of those here.... 🤣🏴👍
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith your welcome! And thank you for the time you spend to share your life and experiences with everyone on the channel! I know personally I owe you a huge thank you! Watching your videos and the way you use the channel to spread kindness has helped me in my day to day with my family! I was not raised that way and I wanted to take a different approach rather than follow my father's lead and Buckin your helping me! So thank you! I also owe you another thank you your back strap technic saved me from a barber chair on a dead Ash that after I cut it up I noticed the tree had a split that went thru the middle and stopped an inch or 2 from being visible from the oustide of the tree even with a the bark off of it! So thank you for all that you do!
It's amusing to see a local band from 50 years ago gracing your son's tee-shirt... Those boys did the Big Pink album near me (Saugerties) and Levon Helm lived around here (Woodstock) until he passed away a few years ago. I've been running saws in those areas recently doing Timber Stand Improvement work and clearing hiking trails.
Hey Buckin Billy, Thanks for the video! Its great seeing dad and son and the old power saw getting some attention. Its a good feat to love into a saw and hear her snap and pop again like she'd never really been sleeping. Memories made priceless man the special times. Kindness peace and love to all
Beautiful to see dad and son working together creating a great bond and fond memories. Looking forward to doing the same with my son. Be kind friends and love wins.

That's a serious piece of information right there for Buckin. Hell, I used to race a dirt bike when I was a kid that was 80cc. That Italian saw definitely has a dirt bike sound to it. :)
Hey billy. Big fan of Outdoors with the Morgan’s. Sent me you way over the weekend. I missed the live feed but I really like your channel. I’m a wood turner always looking for burls and good character wood. I also have a very old still I’m in the process of rebuilding. May have to reach out to your or Mike for some help. Great channel
Buckin/Hogan you guys have the same love and appreciation for life spread the kindness buckin I believe that saw I s like the husqvarnas if it says 372xp it is 72ccs I noticed in you video it said 28 on the recoil I believe that saw is 80ccs or bigger she sounds great I love these videos man you and Hogan team buckin you can see in Hogan eyes that he just wants to make you proud cherish these moments buckin and enjoy every bit of it love buckin army live life
Buckin' I seen an old Olympyk once at my local Sthil dealer. Efco is an Italian chainsaw manufacturer too. To expensive for my blood, haha! Another beautiful old saw is the Husqvarna L 65.
just bought one a ,284f olympyk. 50$ got it home and gave her a squirt and fired up gotta put fuel lines on it but in my opinion olympyk made a heck of a nice and durable saw!!
U should have this kid on channell on the regular seems like a good kid and besides u r getting pretty old haha boys and there powersaws .Have a good 1 u'll be back 2 cutting soon enough. Hello 2 the army old and fresh enlisted hope ur journey is a good one!
Olympyk is I think Oleo Mac, really good quality saws. Here in New Zealand they are cheaper than Stihl or Husky, but are quality saws which run as strong as Stihl and Husky. Well made saws, but the anti vibe isn't Stihl quality..but damned good saws!
Hello I just picked up one of these outta trash about 2 weeks ago and messed with it put it in my garage and now I have a tree to cut so went n got it about to see whats goin on with it only video I could find on this saw anymore info hope mine runs love the exhaust on these awesome
I keep learning at almost each and every videos im watching from you. Plus I play your wood man song every single day to my 8 months old boy and he loves it !! Keep going buckin👍
one trick my dad used to do years ago was put fresh gas in and get it to pop. Then let it set for a week or so and let the diaphragm loosen up from the fresh fuel oil mix and a week or two later she'd fire right up and run!!!
Buckin' n Hogan :)....interesting saw there. Hey! someone just gave be a Homelite C9 (Canadian)...thought the plate on the side says Homelite 2000 (if it is a C9 it is 85cc, If its a Homey 2000..then its 115cc!) It certainly is a very heavy saw. I also picked up a Homelite VI 200 58cc (Canadian), great condition, never seen one of these before, looks like a pro saw, wrap -around bar, anti vibe great looking saw. I think it needs a new fuel lie. ANY INFORMATION YOU HAVE ON THESE SAWS WOULD BE WELCOME Buckin'
One of my saws is an Italian Oleo-Mac 940C , 18" bar , quite a good little saw . Last week I was using one of my straight shaft brushcutters , went ok for a few minutes and then died , could get it to fire but it would die again , fuel pickup line had rotted off so it only ran with the tank really full . Welcome to all the new subs , I think 50k will happen today ? I hope so :-) Cheers all .
i also have a husky 2101xp ,288xp , 251olympyk , 371xp ,now a 284f olympyk, olys have a fuel junction of sorts , i only run bigger saws.....even limbing , running them gives u guns ,lol
Sweet little saw....i bet she will rip ! Hogan is really taking to the whole addiction like us !!! I love to see that 👍👍👍. Careful tho buddy, saws are pure addiction , just look at your dad 🤣🤣.....good job fellas !!!
The homeowner threw one away in are job dumpster. My brother seen it said hey Don there's something in the dumpster you might want I grabbed it took it home it fired on the 3rd pull after fueling it up it cuts better than my Stihl . Told my brother about it. He said there's your pay for the week. 🤣 I said bs 😁 no lie it's a beast I love it
61cc with 7.5 HP?Usually you gotta be around 85-90 cc to push that many horses.I have heard these Italian saws were some power houses.I will be searching the flea markets for one(or two).

Dave, when BBR gets his chest healed up, finds a bar and chain, I'm sure he'll take that saw for a spin. :)
Father and son bonding....Priceless!!
