hi, have two questions. first, would it matter where the subcut needle direction is- can it either toward the feet or towards the torso? Second, how long can the hypodermic cannula stay or how often does it need to be changed?

I just want to know how to count the units on/in the bag if your using the entire bag of fluids over xx hours ??? the fluid starts before the 1 unit mark and there is no unit indicator after the 9 unit mark .. example… if giving 250 units of fluid at a time subQ.. what line on the bag do you count to when using a new bag? After spiking and priming the fluid line is above the 1 mark on the bag and it’s not a complete unit?? I cannot find this information anywhere.. any advice would be greatly appreciated..

@@anilmehta6425 oh thanks.. I finally figured it out.. my pup wasn’t on drip.. .. just 21/2 units everyday subQ.. I pushed it in gently.. the lines on the bags were different than the previous bag I got from my vet that was 88 miles away .. so I got confused how to do what they showed me with the first bag.. he went through quite a few bags..so I got the hang of it with the different bags from different companies.. Buck aka Mr.Man succumbed to his health problems 7 months after I started treatment.. he had a very good life and was an 18 year old jack Russell.. he is missed very much 🐾💕🐾 .. thanks for helpful hint tho..

Seriously? A hat/coat rack for an IV pole? Are things really that bad in the UK?

Anything that is high up and can hold the bag securely is adequate.
I have a feeling this film was made by a student perhaps as a requirement in class. Or for a job interview.
