- Happy Friday to all my peeps!! Here is our latest dive... I still cannot believe the amount of stuff I found in JUST ONE DUMPSTER?!!! The amount of what they deemed as trash is SO INSANE!
I am so happy that I was able to save all of these items and they will now be donated to so many kiddos!
I swear no matter how long I have been doing this I am always shocked at the amount of items these stores just toss away!

I have a friend who was inspired by your videos to go dumpster diving. She has 2 young girls, her hours were cut at Christmas and her husband was laid off for the winter. They have other relatives who gave for Christmas, but they wanted to have gifts for them at Christmas. Grandparents watched the kids, her husbands brother went with them. Their kids had a good Christmas . There was enough stuff for birthdays, friends birthday parties, and Easter baskets. All she has to do is get some candy. She also donated some of what she found to the Salvation Army for their toy drive at Christmas. She has been called back to work full time and in May her husband starts work managing his parents restaurant. I salute you and thank you on her behalf. Stay safe.
That's SO sad that someone has to resort to getting toys from the dumpster for their kids B-days & Christmas. Although I know all to well how it is(being a single Mom, an abusive husband(x), I ended up leaving him but he couldn't be found for child support) & no one to turn to for any help. Things were really really hard for many years. I'm glad your friend was called back to work & her husband too. Prayers for them & yourself too!!!

I was an assistant manager for Dollar General. It looks like an employee or Store Manager is putting new merchandise in the Dumpster to come and get after the store is closed. Some people you can not trust.

That's what I see too. Coincidentally enough to have 1, 1, 1, of each of everything. I did notice too and I was a Manager with them too. Small world 😁. You know where the shortages are coming in. Huh?

It boggles my mind to think they destroy good merchandise instead of donating. I'm so glad you are able to save some of it. Especially the toys for Beverly's Birthdays. Every child should have a party and receive a present. Keep up the good work!
I worked at Kmart and once the reps came in and removed products it was pitched. The reps didn’t care what we did with it but management didn’t want to take the time to donate it. Too much paper work.

I really like the times you leave the phone in the car. Being stationary is great ! No dizziness bc of phone jumping all over. I can truly trust what I see. I like watching and NOT get motion sickness. Great haul!

I know back in early 2000 when I was Ass Manager at DG we had to throw away allot of things. Yes the store get full credit if they write it off. Half if they clearance. But if they would donate they only get a small percentage. But like I said that was 20 years ago. Oh and when I had to throw things out I would call people and let them know that way all of it got saved. Great finds.

You have inspired me to look and see if there is an organization in my area that throws birthday parties for children. If not I think I may look into starting one. Thank you for all you do for so many who are in need. A small thing like a birthday party can mean so much to a child!

I Was completely gray by 30...
At 50, I stopped coloring,
Now 63, losing the hair where I should have hair; growing hair where it doesn't belong!

I started going grey at 18. I dyed my hair until I was 45. I was so tired of doing it that, while I was off on medical leave, I went light blonde so my grey wouldn't be as obvious. I wear my hair super short so it only took 2 haircuts to be totally grey. Mine is fortunately a nice grey. Right now I'm dying it fun colors with semi-permanent. Midnight amethyst (purple) at first and now I'm going Indigo blue. So much fun.
You find ways of getting into the dumpsters LOL and always make my day. Always a good haul. Inspiration you give us as subscribers. Love what you do Shannon and Ms Beth 😃🤣 much blessings

I appreciate all that you do for people less fortunate. Last Christmas we were not able to get presents for our kids and it was the worst Christmas ever. We didn't even decorate the house or put up a tree. Keep doing what you are doing for all the kids and adults out there that need help.

Your DG haul definitely looks like the store remodeled and they threw away items that pennied but weren’t found by the penny shoppers. The toys are all going on clearance, so they pitched them instead of selling them.
I penny shop all the time and hit every remodel I can. My entire spare bedroom is nothing but DG penny items. As soon as the weather breaks I am having a huge garage sale to get rid of all of it.

Haven't been able to watch lately. Had my baby girl on 2/28 and she wasn't supposed to be here until 4/13. She is still in the hospital because of how early she was born. Hopefully she will be home soon. Just got back from the hospital with a headache so going to try to get a little nap in before going back out with her. Decided to check out your video. I am soooo glad that you have a GREAT place to donate all those REALLY NICE toys to Beverly's Birthday's!! Seriously, they are not junk and the kids who will get them will be sooo EXCITED!!! Dollar General is one store we do not have many of. Most have locked dumpsters and the only other one I have found unlocked in like 30 minutes away and I don't dive in that town. And the bleach thing bugs me soo much!! Not only are they throwing a hazardous chemical in the dumpster but employees could possibly splash some in their eyes! Workman's Comp anyone? You SERIOUSLY need to keep one of those step stools so you can get in the dumpster :) I'm sure another diver will appreciate you leaving stuff for them. You are nice that way!

Id love to meet you but i live in Washington and your videos inspired me to start collecting things from the streets like clothes and go magnet fishing to clean out lakes since dumpster diving there is a challenge. You really inspired me to continue with my treasure collecting hobby even after dropping out of college.
