Finally someone elaborated on the information while sticking to the needed information. Perfect execution on this review. I'll be getting the 22 zx6r next month and I too got off a 99 zx9r 12yrs ago and ready to ride again. Ty sir
Bro I knew it. I knew you were a two wheeler at one time. I am 53 and still ride but not that fast and reckless anymore. Takes too long for these old bones to heal now LoL. Great video, keep them coming 💪
Glad to see you doing motorcycles too. You remind me of when my Dad would watch motor trend car of the week. They should bring that back and have you host
😂 I can scrape them on the cruisers, but no way I can scrape the pegs on these, Torsee. And I'm gonna use that..."Born to be MILD!" Or maybe "Grew up to be MILD." 😜 Thanks for watching!
Happy to hear that, icywind 177. As long as you don't get too crazy while building your skills, the ZX-6R can be just fine for beginners. Thanks for sharing and for watching!
any opinions for someone looking at getting their first supersport when coming from cruisers? Maybe I am being overly cautious but this will be my 3rd year riding but never on a supersport. The 2 bikes I have in my garage are a 06 yamaha v-star 650 custom, and a 2022 Harley Davidson iron 883. Just curious if people think the zx6r would be "to much" since I would technically be a beginner supersport rider but have 2 years of cruiser experience.
With 2 years of riding experience I think you'll be fine. Just remember that supersports are WAY more powerful than stock cruisers and that every input is more exaggerated. Both the throttle and brakes will feel very sensitive until you get used to them, so be sure to use gentle inputs. Also, the riding position will be more racy than you are used to so be prepared for achy palms and tired shoulders at first. Ride it enough and you will get used to it, though, and will have a blast. Hope this helps and thanks for watching! Ride safe!
If you want more upright go Ninja 650, if you're set on supersport go zx6r. A lot of the 600 class bikes haven't been really updated in a while. The zx6r is the best bang for the buck.

EXACTLY. 😂 I still enjoy the ride, Barry Payne, but I don't own anything right now. I try to keep my skills up, tho! 💪🏾 Thanks for watching!

Did you remember your counter steering technique?
You didn’t scrape the pegs!

@@chhh8057 i got the 636 like 3 months ago bro.
Shit, im starting out on a 23 Ninja ZX10R.
How often do you have to get gas?
I love the zx6r but for my age at 51 the 4RR seating position is better :( witch they made a zx6r seating position like ninja 400 or 4rr
Same here, ralph garibay. I'm getting too old to have all that pressure on my shoulders and wrists now. 😅 Thanks for sharing and for watching!
Cons: Blows around in the wind and lots of weight on your arms. Otherwise, it has lots of good points like engine braking.
