I don't think so. I think it is a little bit more complicated. He knew that society (rightly) thinks it's wrong. People like him think that society is stupid and that they have the RIGHT to do such a thing (and he know how bad it was, but it doesn't matter because he has def. a God-Complex). They perceive children as a product of themselves and thus as property with which they can do whatever they want. It doesn't always have to end in murder. If I consciously raise my child to a certain belief, this also arises from the thought that it is my property, my possession. A child is not a property. You only have the full responsibility that it survives physically and mentally and develops a healthy self-confidence and does not harm anyone else.

I know that some people are wondering why the other children didn't just run. If you grew up in an abusive home, you would understand: they were terrified to even try. The same reason a mother or sibling will watch a beating and not run, and not even try to help the person being beaten.

Eh a Sociopath/Psychopath/Narcissist can still be a goraphobe. Killing someone by choking is different then butchering them, especially if you factor in how people like that usually can't understand or don't care about other people's emotions. He probably didn't feel a single thing while killing them because of that, but actually chopping them up probably gave him the heeby jeebies. Phobias aren't necessarily formed by society's moral standards, they go a lot deeper then that. Someone who disagrees or disobeys society's morals can stil develope phobias. This just goes to show how he only cared about himself, his personal feelings outweighed his own self preservation. What an idiot, lmao.

@@SuperPeterok Just manipulating reality so he is the victim in some way; faking what he thinks the emotion should be. That's why nothing makes any sense; it's a distorted view on reality that pathetic people adopt to feel less pathetic. Obviously he felt like a piece of shit getting dumped. Instead of reflecting on why, and trying to improve himself as a person, he decided to bend his perspective on reality to improve himself in his own eyes. What is disturbing to me personally is how many people resort to this kind of manipulation when they are tested to improve themselves in life. It just takes a certain kind of delusion, and level of desperation. So many things compound bad decisions like choosing to lie to yourself; high blood pressure can cause dementia, dementia can cause delusions. Many people blame stress for blood pressure, but it's another way to manipulate reality; it's all about coping strategies, diet, and lifestyle. Poor health in general can really effect the way we think; so it's important to always reflect on ways to improve ourselves; practice self awareness so we do not fall into a trap of delusion that either kills us or makes us into something else.
Personally, I wish they wouldn't try to prevent suicide so much. It would have been so much better if he just gave up on himself and took the easy way out. Honestly, if a person needs to want help to be helped, and we just let them slip, and they can't find the strength to better themselves, why do we want to let them slip so far into a state of desperation that the commit some heinous act such as this? I think if there is not enough healthcare to treat people, and help them, they should get the option of therapy or assisted suicide especially if they think they might hurt someone else. Then we could feel bad for him; but not like this. Maybe if we felt bad enough we would push for the healthcare to be available. There was probably a time when he would have sought help vs. the decline leading to this paths end. This way we just hate, and condemn the worst; there's no incentive to fix the problems before they propagate.
Fuck that guy though. He's a piece of shit.

He has spent 20+ years in various types of therapy and treatment and is a man of God, a good father, and a great friend to many people. I have BPD and my symptoms are far more self-destructive than outwardly aggressive. I see a lot of female killers who's actions are blamed on BPD. 2:07 when I was in high school I worked at a steak and shake with a girl who had a six-month-old baby. Not long after I started working there and met her and her beautiful daughter they found her daughter adjacent to her apartment complex in a park deceased. her boyfriend who was the baby's father killed the baby because my coworker, the babies, mother was giving it too much attention. After that day no news story was done about it no follow up no podcast nothing no one barely remembers except those of us directly affected. 😭😭😭

Sarah Lee That's just pure flipping evil! My own "sperm donor" had attempted to kill me when I was about 4 or 5 months old. I began walking around that time, and I knew how to get out of my crib, and one night, my mom had asked the "sperm donor" to watch out for me since I kept getting out of my crib, because she was going to take a shower. He didn't watch me. What he DID do, however, was opened up the front door -- just a crack. We lived in an upstairs apartment, and the landlord lived in the bottom apartment.
Well, I got out of my crib, and I walked then crawled towards the front door, and when I got to the front door, I opened it just a bit more, and I fell down 27 steps. Now, here's where and when my Guardian Angel became an alcoholic ( I'm just joking ), because I didn't have a scratch, fractures, severe broken bones, bruises or any severe trauma, and what saved my life was my stroller suddenly appeared at the bottom of the stairs, and my mom knew that she had placed the stroller underneath the stairs. My mom never trusted him to watch me whenever she had to leave me alone with him.
I sincerely and profusely apologize for this comment being incredibly long, but I'm thankful to you all for taking the time to read and reply back to my comment. God bless all of you, and your families. IF you have to go out, please be careful.

It a lot deeper than that. You have to truly repent and take the punishment mean the court system and not try to get out. Than it up to God Almighty to forgive you and mind you he didn’t forgive everybody of their sins he did forgive Saul and he sure didn’t forgive the Judas but you right a lot of people that follow that believe the hippy Jesus and do not realize he the same God of the Old Testament. Showing grace and mercy on those he want too. Key that show he didn’t truly repent he do not want to take responsibility of with he did at all. God Almighty may forgive you but you have to accept the consequences of you actions for you will be punished here on earth. PS he also didn’t forgive Mose and cut his life short. People like to over look like that believe they just say sorry which isn’t true repenace and than do not want face face the time. If he live in that time I hoe he know that for first degree murder in the Bible call for death sentence that the price of your sin. They do not follow the law or believe in the law this same people do xmas like it a holiday day God Almighty ordain and he never ordained it. According to the Bible you do not make up holidays he didn’t tell you or worship him in a belief that mix with pagan because that breaking his law, you should have no other idol or gods before me. Even having pictures of so call Jesus and crosses his breaking his laws bc the Bible says you should make no images and He might that. They a lot of people that believe they in the faith and they are not that like the people in the wilderness that just want a god they tell what they want to do, they just want to play, so they play church. The Bible says He don’t hear the prays of sinners and a lot of behavior do not know this fact. Another false belief they have is that God Almighty loves everybody and it says over and over again in the Bible he do not. God Almighty hate wick people and specially those that causes people to blasphemy him name due to their wick hearts and sins. The Bible makes it clear a good 80% or so people will not make it bc wide is that road. More proof he believes in hippy Jesus and not the real one, he believes that when you die you go to heaven when the Bible clearly tells you go back to dirt. Jesus is coming here on earth to rule here on earth. The Bible says when you die you really die you have no thought no more there no life after death that the first lie the devil told Eve and many to this day believe that. According to the Bible he going to raise you from the die on the last day, everybody for judgement. I making this small bc there more detail about when he come back to establish his kingdom and set things right the last day happen after his 1000 years rein. To make it even clearer the Bible says a live dog is better than a die lion and as you live do everything with all your might bc when you die that it until judge day, and you only get judge once.

15:52 The bit you pointed out about him going from inaudibly tearful as to getting the trash bags to dispose the corpses, to suddenly clear and normal when he said he said had "other stuff to throw out from his car too", then staight back to the pitiful and strangled voice...he did the same thing during his interview earlier in the video.
At about 6:49 - The detective asked him about the order in which he killed his kids, and he starts listing the order, all soft and tearful, then says "wait wait wait..." (getting a name wrong in the order he was listing off) in his normal voice, then went about re-listing the order in the tearful little voice again.

That man has a huge emotional distance between himself and his actions, which becomes apparent through his choice of words. Cold and detached. The man lost his son but without any emotion he says things like "I went back to his room and found out he's deceased" rather than "I found out he's dead". He might as well be talking about finding a dead dog in an alley. The only emotion he shows is when he's talking about himself and even then I'm not sure it's real.
I could be wrong but I don't think he meant for the boy to die but he didn't seem too worried about it when the boy did die. No personal accountability whatsoever, most parents would blame themselves for what happened, whether it was their fault or not. This guy just sits there "Not my fault and I sure hope this won't ruin my day any more than it already has. Shit happens, right? Can always make a new baby." At least he didn't ask for a can of Coke and a butterfinger.

The goal of CPS agencies is often (mostly) to keep the family together, rather than to protect the children. This needs to change. Also, what “good father” shuts off the electricity to the place where his children are living? I agree that the “mother” should not have the children in this case, but neither should the “father”. As to the rest of the family, I’d bet $$$ they ignored all red flags.
