It's basically naruto ultimate ninja storm but bleach. But ive noticed that the visuals are way more polished than the recent naruto battle arena game. Also congrats on the new place! Though i thing the previous background was better. 😅
I want to see 20 versions of Ichigo just like FighterZ has with Goku. In fact, make it a battle royale between all the Ichigos with an original multiverse plot.
This still feels like a dream. I remember enjoying Soul Resurrection on my PS3 back in 2011 and waiting for a sequel but then, the anime stopped airing in 2012 and the manga ended in 2016. Both an anime returns and a brand new console game felt like delusional hopes and the Bleach haters got a kick of reminding us that. Now, more than a decade later, I’m happy to witness things turning around.
Loved that game, I rebought it awhile back and my save file was still on my PS3. I remember Rukia having a infinite stun lock combo you can do and the bosses could not get out of it.
Not having the Thousand Year Blood War is honestly a good move. The anime has not completed yet and it’s been adding so much, especially abilities for characters we never got to see in the manga. I would much prefer 1000 year Blood War stuff as DLC or a sequel after the anime has wrapped. Imagine if they adapted someone like Senjumaru before the bankai reveal.
One hype thing is they got Takeharu Ishimoto to compose for this game, and for those who dont know him, he's done a bunch of Square Enix games like Final Fantasy 10 and Kingdom Hearts. But one soundtrack in particular that fits Bleach's tone perfectly, is They composed for The World Ends with You (TWEWY). Which is known for having a lot of variety and having vocal songs.
Agreed! His music in NEO TWEWY is perfect for Bleach's musical style in the OG anime & TYBW. I'm expecting a good blend of rock, techno & orchestral, given Ishimoto's work on stuff like FF Crisis Core, Kingdom Hearts & of course TWEWY.
Bleach and TWEWY are two of my very favorite things so aside from the shock of dub lines already being prepared for the game, this was the biggest hype moment of the trailer for me
Some correction: He didn't compose music for FF10, only worked as a synthesizer programmer. For FF games he did compose music for, it's Crisis Core, Dissidia, and FF Type-0.
I have a feeling that the "rebirth" is about Ichigo "re-experiencing" his past. Thats why he's in the different outfit in the start, with "soul-destruction" being about characters evolving and temporarily unlocking their future abilities through battle. Looks great!
I think that makes sense. Rukia with Sode no Shirayuki is really cool, it could just be making it clear that she as a fighting game character has her Shikai, but it also feels like it could hint at a situation where you can play the early story straight or have her "reverse fate" and fight with her Shikai in Chapter 1 to either explore the "what if she didn't give her powers to Ichigo" route or to open up a meta-scenario about why Ichigo's re-experiencing all of this.
I mean it's possible, but to be honest I just assumed they were replicating the canon-scene here, because when Rukia first popped into his room, it was late at night and Ichigo very much wasn't wearing his uniform. I'd have to to check, but I thought the scene had actually just reproduced the actual outfit he was wearing when he met Rukia.
@@Azachiel I just checked, he was wearing his school uniform with his school jacket on when he met Rukia. So the outfit in this trailer is different. But it could be what Mr. Tommo said and it could just be different outfits in the game.
It’s funny we just had FF7 rebirth come out, and now the bleach game is called rebirth heck it fits because Ichigo has a giant sword like cloud though in original Bankai it’s a much shorter, and sexier Septhiroth sword.
It's a crazy time to be a bleach fan right now. When BBS launched I thought it would be like the last real piece of content we'd get. I never expected to get thousand year blood war characters. The story. And even the anime to return later in the future as well. It's just crazy
The opening narration of the trailer is specifically from the first Arrancar invasion of Karakura--Chapter 0, Side-A the sand--it comes after Chapter 205 in volume 23. The shot of White in Bankai is from the Horse and King segment in Volume 25, so we're absolutely getting up to at least that far in the manga. Ichigo 9 stripe Mask in Bankai doesn't happen until the second invasion, in chapter 231 in the second battle against Grimmjow. That said, the iconic panel used from it in the trailer is from 344, The Pride. So if they're not just using that because it's a recognizable image, then we're getting at least everything up to Battle in the Dome. That means Turn Back the Pendulum and Aizen's Karakura Invasion are on the table. Also means we're liable to get Bankai Ikkaku, Shikai Shuhei, True Shikai Yumichika, and Resurrection Grimmjow.

Fyi, they said they're starting from the beginning story wise since there hasn't been a console in over a decade. I think it's gonna cover substitute shinigami arc -> arrancar arc. Maybe we'll get fullbring & tybw in a sequel if the game is successful.
From the Bandai Panel - Shueisha, Pierrot, and Kubo Tite worked together on the game with Kubo Tite overseeing the story mode. The plan was to make the coloration and aesthetic fit the TYBW anime. Story will go from Substitute Arc through Arrancar Arc.
@@donaldwolfe7341 Based on the visuals we've gotten from this trailer alone, the furthest forward we see is Ichigo putting on his mask to fight Ulquiorra in Chapter 344. So it's probably worth assuming that this will go all the way through Aizen's defeat and the end of the Karakura Invasion.
Omg Tommo you GOTTA talk about Blue Exorcist sometime, man!!! Noticed those volumes in the background and I think you could really bring some attention to the series right before the anime returns. Rebirth of Souls does look fantastic though and I can’t wait to play it!
Shunsui's gonna be a really interesting fighter with his Shikai. I wonder how they'll integrate it into the game, with all the games And if they add TYBW characters, Masc De Masculine HAS to be in the game. He just fits, with his whole wrestling star gimmick

I find anime games too be so bland and the repetitive ninja storm formula for most of them is so annoying. However, for bleach I will make an exception and it actually looks pretty decent, just happy Bleach is getting its recognition.

This game is probably testing the waters hardcore for a new experience. It has to sell well before they decide to go crazy balls to the wall with roster and covering more arcs. Bleach is after all very character intensive, there's a bunch. Givens are all of Ichigo's main fights. We might get a couple hollow npc-only fights, Renji, Ikkaku, Zaraki, Byakuya, either version of Zangetsu, Grimmjow and maybe a nerfed Ulquiorra as a special end-game fight. If it indeed does well I can see prolonged work into either a sequel or season pass that adds the other chapters. While it is fun to see a Bleach fighter return, my hopes for Bleach were always a Dynasty Warrior style game. I think it would suit the series better than it does like, One Piece, and Pirate Warriors is a thing. "Soul Warriors" or "Shinigami Warriors" could potentially be very dope.
I get a strong feeling that the game won’t cover everything, but I don’t mind it if it means we’ll eventually get a focus on all the parts of Bleach. Like the Storm series, slowly building up a chronologically based roster.
This looks like it’ll be DBZ Kakarot which is awesome! I’m excited.. as a huge fan of Bleach we are long over due for a video game. Is it going to be god tier? Probably not, but it honestly looks better than most anime games these days. I’m expecting a Kakarot-like rpg that faithfully adapts every fight and story beat thru the Substitiute-Arrancar arc. I’m curious if they will continue the story thru DLC like Kakarot did or if we will have to wait for a sequel game.
Hey Tommo, would you be able to do a roster prediction ? I think that would be an interesting video taking in mind the major battles of the series. Since they want to do a good re-telling of the story they for sure will left out alot of fights, so when i was predicting the roster it sure was a challenge.
I recognize the Tamsoft name. They're known for rather good quality anime-style games, though many of their titles are admittedly rather niche. For example, many of the spinoffs for Idea Factory/Compile Heart's Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise are Tamsoft titles.
They can go crazy with DLC and skins, each Kubo color spread are more iconic than the other. Filler arcs and characters too. SENNA, please can we get Senna in Thousand Year Blood War art style?
I wish it wasn’t an arena fighter, but I love Bleach so much that I will get over it. When I saw Bandai was doing it, I thought we were getting a Bleach DBFZ.
I am so so very excited, I remember back in the day I would piss off my sister so much with the intro song of Soul Ressurection. I played that game a stupid amount; I remember wanting to max out every single character even tho that would of taken me way too damn long. It was such a treat so the fact that over 10 years later I'm still around to witness a new Bleach game is just a treat. This may be the only game I'll ever pre-order
The only bleach game I have played& enjoyed was that Ds game with the twins. I was getting used to the leveling up and I like the strategy rpg style it was plus it was fun having your own shikai than banki depending what style you choose. Wish another like it came out also I want another Bleach Muso game. They can do a thousand year war whole game and you can be hacking away at the zombies and big boss fight with mayuri and um the hand.
If you "evolve" mid-fight, it kinda sounds like they want to simulate those cases of characters discovering a new power during a fight, like Chad in the Gantenbainne-fight

Id love it if the game had some section set apart to show the build up to the thousand year blood war like Yhwach meeting with Ichibei and a small battle playing as either side of that conflict. Also, gameplay looks similar to Kakarot.
I wish the game is not extremely low budget. There is so much potential in the franchise and I hope we could finally get a good modern Bleach game that isn't a mobile game.
I think the thing that may be holding them back from doing Fullbring/TYBW stuff would be how abstract some of the powers get vs making that a balanced game. How can you incorporate Book of the End, The Miracle, or The Almighty into an arena fighter that's accurate but balanced
As a fighting game fan, im exited and currios. The idea of a one hit kill bleach game sound intriguing and possibly really fun. Now as a bleach fan, give it to me right now!
I wish they would do another Bleach: Soul Carnaval. I like the first two action RPGs. They were good play throughs. The last one stopped at the Fake Karakura arc. More level can be added with the Lost Agent and TYBW arc.
Bleach's resurrection is actually insane to see. Not only do we get the anime but a console game now after so many years of waiting! If they keep cooking like this, I wonder what the dessert is going to be and I can't wait! The hype is real!!!
So happy to see a new console game! As she is my favorite character, I'm vying for Nemu to be playable, but if we're talking about characters who are very unlikely, I really hope the Tres Bestias are playable! I've always loved the idea of using the likes of Sun Sun to take down Aizen, and not just have that dream be limited to Brave Souls!
Suggestion for the more blank side of the wall cause tbh it doesn´t look very good it´s very unbalanced right now. Also it has been comfirmed that the game goes till the end of the Arrancar Saga for now Push the Mr Tommo lights a bit up so you have space on all 4 directions to put paintings/portraits/the YT plak/etc around it, that way it looks like the Mr Tommo sign is the center piece ( like the sun in the solar system) while the things you put around it are the planets cause all of those revolve around your YT name and are important pieces of your channel

But you’re right. It’s extremely unlikely that we’ll get every vice-captain.
I highly doubt we will get any vice captain (besides Renji) in the base roster. Maybe DLCs tho.

We might get a couple hollow npc-only fights, Renji, Ikkaku, Zaraki, Byakuya, either version of Zangetsu, Grimmjow and maybe a nerfed Ulquiorra as a special end-game fight.
If it indeed does well I can see prolonged work into either a sequel or season pass that adds the other chapters.
While it is fun to see a Bleach fighter return, my hopes for Bleach were always a Dynasty Warrior style game. I think it would suit the series better than it does like, One Piece, and Pirate Warriors is a thing. "Soul Warriors" or "Shinigami Warriors" could potentially be very dope.

I get a strong feeling that the game won’t cover everything, but I don’t mind it if it means we’ll eventually get a focus on all the parts of Bleach. Like the Storm series, slowly building up a chronologically based roster.
They already stated it covers from the beginning to the Arrancar arc

This looks like it’ll be DBZ Kakarot which is awesome! I’m excited.. as a huge fan of Bleach we are long over due for a video game. Is it going to be god tier? Probably not, but it honestly looks better than most anime games these days. I’m expecting a Kakarot-like rpg that faithfully adapts every fight and story beat thru the Substitiute-Arrancar arc. I’m curious if they will continue the story thru DLC like Kakarot did or if we will have to wait for a sequel game.

Since they want to do a good re-telling of the story they for sure will left out alot of fights, so when i was predicting the roster it sure was a challenge.

This is a SUPER deep cut that I'm sure they won't do but I hope for some anime only characters like Shusuke Amagai and Maki Ichinose.
I recognize the Tamsoft name. They're known for rather good quality anime-style games, though many of their titles are admittedly rather niche.
For example, many of the spinoffs for Idea Factory/Compile Heart's Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise are Tamsoft titles.
They can go crazy with DLC and skins, each Kubo color spread are more iconic than the other. Filler arcs and characters too. SENNA, please can we get Senna in Thousand Year Blood War art style?
I wish it wasn’t an arena fighter, but I love Bleach so much that I will get over it. When I saw Bandai was doing it, I thought we were getting a Bleach DBFZ.
I am so so very excited, I remember back in the day I would piss off my sister so much with the intro song of Soul Ressurection. I played that game a stupid amount; I remember wanting to max out every single character even tho that would of taken me way too damn long. It was such a treat so the fact that over 10 years later I'm still around to witness a new Bleach game is just a treat. This may be the only game I'll ever pre-order

The only bleach game I have played& enjoyed was that Ds game with the twins. I was getting used to the leveling up and I like the strategy rpg style it was plus it was fun having your own shikai than banki depending what style you choose. Wish another like it came out also I want another Bleach Muso game. They can do a thousand year war whole game and you can be hacking away at the zombies and big boss fight with mayuri and um the hand.

Id love it if the game had some section set apart to show the build up to the thousand year blood war like Yhwach meeting with Ichibei and a small battle playing as either side of that conflict. Also, gameplay looks similar to Kakarot.
Honestly, I'm here to support every piece of Bleach content I can. Even if the game is average, I'll have fun with it since it's Bleach

I wish the game is not extremely low budget. There is so much potential in the franchise and I hope we could finally get a good modern Bleach game that isn't a mobile game.
I think the thing that may be holding them back from doing Fullbring/TYBW stuff would be how abstract some of the powers get vs making that a balanced game. How can you incorporate Book of the End, The Miracle, or The Almighty into an arena fighter that's accurate but balanced

As a fighting game fan, im exited and currios. The idea of a one hit kill bleach game sound intriguing and possibly really fun. Now as a bleach fan, give it to me right now!
I wish they would do another Bleach: Soul Carnaval. I like the first two action RPGs. They were good play throughs. The last one stopped at the Fake Karakura arc. More level can be added with the Lost Agent and TYBW arc.
Bleach's resurrection is actually insane to see. Not only do we get the anime but a console game now after so many years of waiting! If they keep cooking like this, I wonder what the dessert is going to be and I can't wait! The hype is real!!!
So happy to see a new console game! As she is my favorite character, I'm vying for Nemu to be playable, but if we're talking about characters who are very unlikely, I really hope the Tres Bestias are playable! I've always loved the idea of using the likes of Sun Sun to take down Aizen, and not just have that dream be limited to Brave Souls!
Suggestion for the more blank side of the wall cause tbh it doesn´t look very good it´s very unbalanced right now. Also it has been comfirmed that the game goes till the end of the Arrancar Saga for now
Push the Mr Tommo lights a bit up so you have space on all 4 directions to put paintings/portraits/the YT plak/etc around it, that way it looks like the Mr Tommo sign is the center piece ( like the sun in the solar system) while the things you put around it are the planets cause all of those revolve around your YT name and are important pieces of your channel
