Hehehe Maybe web warrior fanatic is becoming an X-men fanatic! Love seeing more magneto. I did pick him up and i've been having fun with him in leadership myself
"Hulk no like chess." Hulk said as he watched Magnus and Charles continue their game. Charles, with bemusement, turned toward the green behemoth, "Something you and Banner share in common, Hulk." Hulk snorted at that, indignantly, "Hulk NOT share with Banner, things are Hulk's." Charles noted the displeasure of the Hulk and figured it was best to just let him continue as he was, observing quietly. Charles observed the chess board and plotted his next move... how best to respond to that knight? Magnus turned toward the Hulk, whilst Charles pondered, and made his own inquiry, "You do not need to stalk me, Hulk, I will honor our bargain, as you fulfilled your role quite well." Hulk's eyes narrowed, his heavy brow furrowed, "Hulk follow magnet man until he give Hulk reward." This earned a huff from Magnus, "Suite yourself, it'll be AFTER me and Charles' match." A match which continued onward as Charles counteracted Magnus' bold knight play with a move of his opposite rook. Charles grew curious, "Would you both be willing to divulge what lead to such an unordinary team up? Was the strength of the Brotherhood not enough for the task?" This earned a scowl from his rival, "It was something that I had to do alone, Charles, securing the future of mutant kind. However, I could not rely on my fellow mutants due to the weapons at the disposal of the future menace. I needed a... very powerful distraction to soften up my enemy." Hulk growled angrily as he slammed his fist into the nearby ground, uprooting a tree that had, moments ago, stood tall, "Spikey man cheat Hulk! Ran away from Hulk!" Charles' brow quirked as he pondered Erik's strategy, allowing the Hulk to have his moment of venting (ready to calm him psychically if called for). Magnus sipped his tea before stating, "I will tell you Charles, the tale of how I utterly crushed and broke a ambitious blowhard moments after he thought himself successful fleeing from the Hulk. I will say - This 'Stryfe's' powers paled utterly in comparison to yours." -------------- LONE WOLF? I very much adore the concept and was very excited to see The Hulk! ...Then was sad as I remembered why Hulk needs some(decently balanced I hope ) buffs to really unlock his power. I did get excited seeing Magneto with Aggression as well! A great game won with HP close at the end. I do hope they release an official Lone Wolf ruleset at some point, it'd be interesting to see what, officially, FFG considers to be a good balance/cost for having no Allies. Perhaps drawing a card when defeating a non-player side scheme/minion(once per round)? 🤔Though that doesn't solve the problem of needing chumps to eat damage. Perhaps an easier way to get out tough cards? Aw well, thoughts for later! For now! Was a great game and been a blast watching you play Magneto!
Thanks Ritsy! I love that you thematic story had Hulk not losing but that Stryfe ran away haha. That’s more thematic. Lone Wolf is a fun concept forsure, although i would’ve preferred it without Hope since she made this less of a Lone Wolf challenge. I’d also be excited to see what FFG does if they explore this mode 😁
It was sad to see how hulk lost to threat, but magneto surprised me with the survivability, you got one stun, then a tough, and then the bubble which is practically a second tough
@@mattjenkinscomic I’m not sure. The problem with Justice Hulk is the game will be longer, and I’m not sure if i could handle Stryfe’s high tempo and him swinging at me (without chump blockers) while I’m trying to thwart out Stryfe’s Grasp. It’ll be a tough one forsure
@@webwarriorfanaticI ended up dropping what doesn't kill me from my Thor Lone Wolf protection deck for jump flip for this challenge- I needed more thwarts than heals and could get the readies from other cards.
@@webwarriorfanatic I've further tweaked my Thor Lone Wolf deck and its super fun - I think your no allies no problem nightcrawler deck is really on to something - there's something going on with no/low ally protection
@@gnarlantlers70 Nice Gnarl! That's definitely an area I want to explore again in the future. You inspired me to play Thor again, though. I'm planning on making a deck for him soon :)
@@webwarriorfanaticI got the idea to use Thor for the weekly one shot because Thor draws 2 cards for engaging minions and the WOSC Lone Wolf rules allow him to draw another card for defeating the minion
I usually do when i fine tune it. The decks used in this video were just randomly made and played once. Which deck do you want to see? I can write up a list on MarvelCDB from memory (approximately 😂😅)
@@wezalmighty oh gotcha. All my published decks are here: marvelcdb.com/decklists/find?author=Web-Warrior%20Fanatic I have playthroughs showing how to play those decks on the channel too

Haha I’m a little bit of a magnetic fanatic It seems. Glad to hear you’re enjoying him. He’s an amazing hero 🤩
I think that Hulk's only solo strategy is rush, and Stryfe's side scheme is a typical anti-rush design. So I'm not surprised he lost.
I totally forgot about that side scheme 😅

Yea mags came in clutch! I probably should’ve used Justice for Hulk.
That Hulk game was well played! It’s more the poor design of Hulk than anything that cost you the dub. Do you think you could win with Justice Hulk?

I'm doing this challenge tonight- gonna go hard on the ready-up - tenacity, what doesn't kill me, enhanced Physique - u know - protection, of course.
Hahaha it would be protection for you. What Doesn’t Kill Me would be so clutch for this. Good luck, I’m looking forward to hearing how it goes!

Stryfe is causing you so much strife. Who knew?
lol that he did
It's too bad you cannot thwart if the value is zero, at least as a hero, I found myself in the same situation with Phoenix!
That’s unfortunate. I’m imagining unrestrained Phoenix with Psychic Inertia bringing her THW down to 0. Sounds fun 😂👌🏻
Do you share your decklists anywhere?

none specifically. I just struggle to know what decks work and what don't, so seeing a deck work before building it is a good indication
