Bike looks sick, congrats! I'm on a '21 Mach 6 (stealth, x01 build) and recently switched to carbon wheels (Reserve 31 DH). I don't notice much difference in weight, so they're not snappier or quicker, but surprisingly it's the control that stands out most. Landings on jumps and drops are a lot smoother, and going over rock gardens feels more stable. I ride mostly bike parks and I'm just looking to have fun, so speed isn't important, but I ride my friends Meta and the 29" wheels are noticably faster. I think that's the biggest advantage for you with the Firebird, especially since it's a lot more controllable at high speed ... Good luck racing this season!
I had a pivot firebird. By far the best bike I've ever owned! Well it got stolen. So I purchased the Mach 6 all carbon. It's a good bike but God I miss my firebird! I'll hang on to this one for a year or so then I'm going back to the firebird.
about to get the fire bird in this spec and it looks so sick and bro i gotta tell ya, I clicked on the vid because of the bike and then stayed for your funny ass humor keep it up bro 👌👌
I’m trying to decide between a Firebird and a ripmo v2. Watching your video makes me want the Firebird even tho I’ll never ride mine like yours. Lol How does it climb?
I ride the same color and similar setup, but with clicks! ;) For racing a must-have…The bike works extremely well under speed, somewhat get smooth if you go fast. And stable. I run Enve carbon rims with Maxxis DD tires and removed the cush core insert and still only 27 PSI max.. If I punch through the rims are so wide that they are together with the tires enough to avoid any snake bites. But lighter rims helps with acceleration etc.
so I weigh 185 lbs and I'm still adjusting it a little bit, but currently I run a 500lb spring, compression is 1 click from open, HSR and LSR are both 2-3 clicks from open. This set up works best at race speed, at regular trail speed it feels a little weird
I did size down, just because I like a little bit smaller bike and prefer a little bit more maneuverability - plus I eventually want to do backflips on it. But my friend has a large frame and he really likes it. (I'm 6ft and my friend is 6ft 2in)
Great riding, but your voiceover takes the cake. It’s hilarious and made my morning 😂 Cheers, dude!
This bike is about to have the wild life it deserves.

Congrats man, that thing is a beast!
Kick ass bike! Can’t wait to see you beat it down 💪🏽

It climbs pretty good I guess, tbh I've never really noticed much climbing difference between different bikes tho

Nice bike. Can you share the spex of the transmission crank. I ask because of the chain line and superboost THX
What settings you end up with the dhx2? Would you mind sharing spring HSR etc?

Did you dialed now?
How is the medium, working for you? How tall are you?
the medium works great for me and I'm 6ft tall
Can it go uphill like trail bikes?
How do you like the Fox coil? I'm running the X2 AIr shock now.
tbh I don't know if I can really tell much of a difference between the Float X2 and the DH X2 coil, they both feel about the same to me
Well, if its possible to break it you'll figure it out. Sick bike.
I can't believe how quiet the new transmission is... No chain slap at all
Did you have to size down?

Hard
You blow up the suspension....then buy a bike with the same Fox junk on it?
lol
I had a rockshox rear shock for a month before it started leaking air, so I switched back to fox after that
