When you were in the storage bin aisle at Dollar Tree, there were stackable plastic storage bins. They are the ones that are angled at the top. When you flip them over they make great hidey tunnels. My pig loves to hunch her shoulders and pull these around like a hermit crab. I had one pig who would line them up next to each other and run laps.
my pigs love dog beds from the dollar tree!! even if they’re not inside of it they like to lean on the sides from the outside. so cute and it’s held up a lot of washes so far
we have one, and if you turn them upside down, they act as a little hide. our guinea LOVEE ittt

I've got my mats at five below for only $3! I got a lot of them as they are only there sometimes
cotton fabric or 'fat quarters' (i dont know if theyre called different things elsewhere) are really good for guinea pig mats, because the ha sweeps off them so easy!

On the note of litter boxes: we get all of ours from the dollar store, most of them are pretty big. We use them for the cats and the ferrets. They also work as storage in your car or in a garage if you need a place to put little nuts and bolts. We get our ferret fleece there too

Since I started taking care of piggies, I have stocked up on so many of those baby blankets. I have so many cute prints and I always pick up more when I see new ones or when I need to replace old ruined ones!
We used the baby blankets for cuddle time and to cover top corners of the cage above feeding stations. So useful. Loveeeee them.

I actually use the dogy bags as small pop bags for my pigs . Every morning and night I will go around and pick up pops.😅
You can also buy the dish mats at dollar tree also and work well under the water bottles. Just keep it under the fleece. :)
Since i plan on making my cage on the floor, the broom is a good idea. Thiugh it may be awhile since i get them, because we’re currently moving houses a few states over, so we’ll have a temporary house and whatnot

I went to buybuy baby and got waterproof crib sheets and changing table blankets. Also the Honest Company All-Purpose Balm- Organic healed ring worms for my Guinea pigs.

Love this video!! Also can you make a tutorial on how you make the fleece? I find it super interesting that you can make your own absorbent fleece with your own fabric!! Also the dollar store has sooo many cute designs for the baby fleece, I have around 7 for my piggies and their sooo cute 🤍
Also Ross + Marshall’s have such cute pet things! They have cardboard scratchers, bowls, toys (more for dogs + cats), beds, harnesses, leashes, collars, clothes, litter boxes, play pens, carriers, ect. ! They for sure have more things for dogs/cats then for other animals but some things can be used for them. Ex: Cat Scratchers is a fun activity for bunnies!
If you have a garden you can give them dandelion leaves, they love them!!!!

Hi alyssa thank you for your help with my bunny 🐰 I try my best with looking after her i live in the UK so it is very cold so I get my mum to help me get snowy my rabbit inside but it gets to hot in my house for her so that is why I am looking into getting her a shed i love how you and people who have small animals learn that the old ways of animal care is not good enough I wish I could have snowy indoors but as u am the youngest out of 3 kids I have the smallest room so I don't have alot of room so that is why she is outside love your animals have a good day and thanks again for your help

Yes I would love to see you go to other stores! Ross is great Marshall’s at times has some nice stuff. I LOVE Halloween so I stock up on things for my rats cage that I can use all year 🎃 as well Ross has rope toys for dog that you can use as well for rats. Maybe you can find guinea pigs items next at Ikea ❤️

For dryer balls I use 8 2 is not enough. Fabric softener or dryer sheets are toxic. Dryer balls are awesome but you need 6-8 for best results

I use those small fleeces as pee pads just folded.
Super cheap.compare to most guinea pig pads.

When I had my guinea pig, I always shopped on amazon, and the dollar store for his bath mats and some times I would find some cute stuff at the dollar tree for him, he lived a good 7 years with us. I don't plan on getting no more since we got a new puppy she will he a huge dog when she is older.

My dollar trees and 5 below are literally always empty and gross inside. It’s always a mess like people ran in and grabbed everything. We never have anything good. It sucks 😩

Watching your videos is the reason I got guinea pigs I used to really not like them but I recently got 2 girls and I love them I did find out I am allergic to them though but that's no big deal lol I'll take allergy meds to handle that
Just some friendly advice. You may not be allergic to the pigs. Most people are allergic to the hay. If you feed them Timothy hay you might want to try to feed them Orchard hay instead. It's just as good for them and that's what people use instead of Timothy hay plus the pigs love it. I feed my girls a mixture of both of them and they love it. It's worth a try. 😊
