Ask Lori Alexander what DOESN’T cause cancer…these beliefs and ideals from these organizations crack me up. I was part of a Pentecostal church 20 years ago, but I didn’t conform to their rules. I cut my hair, i wore pants and shorts outside of church (not TO church) The looks I got from the ladies I ran into while out cracked me up. And I loved Righteous Gemstones! Judy was a hot mess. 😊 eta: I had a skill at said Pentecostal church that led me there to the first place since they had a ministry. I was a huge part of it and when the leader stepped down, I wanted to take their place since I could run and teach this ministry. They turned me down and the ministry fizzled out. It’s their loss. I left that church and haven’t set foot in one since. They made me feel like some evil person, and didn’t accept the fact that I was a nonconformist and never “felt led” to grow out my hair or wear dresses 24/7. I hope you do okay with the planned outages! We get power outages a lot here and it sucks. It’s best to always be prepared.
In my experience I found some of the so called “ strictest Christians “ are the bestest hypocrites. Ive seen some really fake “ believers “ in my day but also some wonderful kind and genuine people I’m blessed to call my friends . The thing about swearing we have two grown kids one swears a lot the other has never used foul language in his life I don’t think I’ve never heard him swear but he’s the most genuine and kind person . When he was a teenager he worked in a grocery store. The manager took me aside one day and told me that my son was the best employee she’d ever had . So there you go it depends on the situation both my kids are amazing kind and caring people one just happens to use “ colourful language “ the other does not 😉 .
I am sure they will the more the rains continue and we lapse back into our tourist reduced rainy season. I hope we get enough rains to refill the ability of the hydro electric.
I use many colorful words, depending on my mood. And I agree, it's intentions that are bad; not words! I do try to avoid GD though, because it does seem intentional to me. Have a great day Suzanne 😀
Thanks! My husband makes me laugh because he tries to claim he never curses but give him a computer error and he busts out the GD so badly I wonder why heavenly lightning doesn't strike him!

I wish I had possessed your individualism during my days at my old church. I mostly conformed and it was hellish in many ways.
