Have you gone to Australia as you are upside down 😂
😂😂😂 Not just yet, maybe on day 👍
Sounds really interesting. Definitely want to see more about this from you. Cheers
You're parents were right...and you're teachers
Fucking love you Bumble
😂😂😂 Cheers!
Orca guys, I'm late but if you are reading this, this is the best video explaining your gear.. I've heard a kjt you guys but didn't really understand what I'm watching. I don't know anything about boats and navigation and this was really relatable to learn new stuff. Definitely gonna consider Orca gear if I ever pull the trigger and get a boat myself. Good stuff
My havsfidra got a compass 😢
It was really useful to watch this video of yours. Thank you
Hi Terry, that Orca setup sounds great. Does it have AIS transponder built in? (Or can it be linked up to some external AIS system?)
If connected to the Internet, it displays ais information from marine traffic. If you have an ais transponder it will display the info it receives via nmea as far as I'm aware 👍👍
Well lad, first Promo!! can you ask them if you can use the Orca hub to connect up all the instruments to an existing chart plotter if its connected to the NEMA network? Have screens to spare but want to integrate the radar, ais and Raymarine network on one thing..
i was thinking that too! do your planning from that transfer, and if all goes wrongs its a perfect backup jobby too
I'll forward this to orca and see what they say 👍👍👍
I tried to maintain eye contact, as to not be rude, but I fell out of my chair and hit my head!!! Good video non the less!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Production values showing remarkable improvement. 🙃👎
😂😂😂
I have Orca on my phone. I was blown away by the detail and ease of use. I would definitely invest in the whole system if I owned my own boat.
Rugged. It is like they know you. ;-)
😂😂😂 Definitely!
It's it a water proof display? Or just water resistant?
It's IP-X6, so tested with high pressure water jets.
@@BumblingSailor thanks.
You can't say "There she blows!" anymore. Different modern connection you see. Try there they or.. they their blows instead. I'm sold on the ORCA system. It should go well on the Sadler 25 I've just bought.
Downloaded the orca app for a look. I'll give it a pass for the moment. From what I could see there is no depth or any real detail at all really. No channel markers etc. I'll keep an eye on it but will stick with navionics for the moment. Cheaper subscription rate on nav as well.
Great review! You come across as a very trustworthy salesman (-:
Quite often i end up using my tablet (navionics) for navigation but when the weather/sea becomes rough it's useless! Supposedly it's caused by the gps not updating my position frequent enough... Anyone experienced ORCA in hard weather?
I'm not sure, it'll be interesting to find out. Thanks for watching!
Hi there, I am a little confused. I know I am not one of your patrons but I did buy some of your raffles tickets to support your boat a little while ago. So my confusion is to do with the on-line course you are taking. You said in previous videos that you would be sharing the footage of you working through the course, but I haven't seen this at all. What's happening?
Hi, there are 2 videos so far about the course, a 3rd will follow in the next week. If you go to my RUclips page and scroll down the videos, they're the ones with Ardent training tagged in. Thanks for watching and all your support 👍👍
You are a legend . Love the you in a box in the corner of the screen
Nice one Terry. Guess that makes you a real RUclipser now.😂 Looking forwards to seeing how it all integrates. P.s. good to see you happy now.
😂😂 Not sure I'm a real one just yet! 😂
You've got a clean seti for a fellow intoxicant enthusiast 🤢😮💨😶🌫️😎
😂😂😂😂😂
looks good, even be handy to have as a backup system for emergencies, i actually like the product and pricing :)
Yeah, I'm really happy with the little I've played with it so far, more to follow! 👍👍
I clicked through your link and got a core - very excited about the possibilities.
Awesome!
Perfect! I think this system will be a hit in the sailing world. Over time they will have more charts on hand, because as it is now, it's a bit limited.👍
👍👍👍
Lol I kept waiting for you to fall on your head but you were raally stuck there
😂😂😂
Not sure what is going on, but loving you reviewing a product upside down. Class. And you got a shout out on another sailing channel..
😂😂 Thank you! Which channel was it?
I look forward to further videos on ORCA
Thanks!
That's quite a nice little nav station if it all hooks up nicely.
👍👍👍
Get off the ceiling your not a bat lmao
😂😂😂😂😂
Broadcasting from Moutere Mahue! That's a cool trick that Orca plays on the unsuspecting antipode.
That's not English!!! Lol wtf does that mean?😂
@@captvaghunter If you check the "antipode" map for Portland Marine you will understand why Bumble was upside down (down under as it were).
@@jimmyccam sorry the tax money Americans pay for decent schools is given away to other countries, what is antipode
@@captvaghunterantipode is the exact opposite position on a globe or sphere (i.e. Earth) We Brits often refer to our Australian and New Zealand "cousins" as Antipodeans as they inhabit the opposite side of the Earth. They could also refer us us Brits as Antipodeans as we inhabit ... etc. However they are not that bright, so your tax money is no going there either. I imagine loads of your tax money used to come back here to fund our prestigious Private Schools. However that's another unpleasant episode in the history of Britain which we would prefer to forget.
Anyway, Moutere Mahue is an island (part of New Zealand) as close as you can get to the antipode of Portland Marina. The UK one! As I guess there must be others lurking out there. Does Oregon have a Portland Marina?
@@jimmyccam if it does it would be over run with rabid bums ,antifa dorks, and BLM looters
This looks really good
Yeah, it's a great bit of kit so far!
