I made an infusion of calendula leaves with my sweet almond oil, then uses that and jojoba oil both as my carrier oil. Then the vitamin c and essential oils. I really love it so far 💚
I like Tea Tree oil for fragrance and healing, Atlas cedarwood oil and lavender go great with it, and rose geranium oil is good for skin, and gives the perfect top note.
Such cute equipments you have for this 😍
Would you recommend to add black castor oil to the mix?
Thank you for this! I do want to try to make my own! I’ve been buying Red Eyed Lacquer’s since I’m allergic to all avocado
Yes, I hear that one is good too!! I love making making my own so I can choose my own ingredients. I can’t use almond oil myself so it’s always great to have other alternatives. Thanks for watching!! ❤️😘😘
Thank you for this video. The recipe rocks..👍
Glad you liked it!
Can I replace the jojoba oil for pumpkin oil? I find the helps me lock moisture in as well.
Cool 😀
Thank you for this great cuticle oil. I hope it helps my dry peeling tearing cuticles.
I'm so glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching ❤️
Omg thank you!!!
You are most welcome!
Thank you! I'll give this a go, wish me luck 😊
Of course! You got it 🙂
Awesome thank you
Any replacements for jojoba oil? Having a hard time finding it online, the main problem I have is hangnails
Did u try Amazon
Vitamin shop carries it online/in store and Trader Joe’s in store
Thanks very much. I need to try this because my nails keep chipping.
You’re welcome 😊
Hey can i add vitamin e tablet instead of oil???
if you have the vitamin E soft gel capsules, use a clean safety pin and poke a hole in the soft gel capsule, the oil will come out.
@@smpendleton thanks
How long can I store it?
DIY Cuticle Oil lasts quite a while. As long as it is stored in a cool, dark environment, it should last about a year or more. That said, be sure to check the packaging of the oils/ingredients you use for any expiry dates suggested by the manufacturer. If you notice a rancid odor or change in color/consistency, it's time to toss it and make a new batch 😊!
I make my own. I avoid ALL seed oils because they are toxic, and definitely not necessary.
How you made your oil ,plz share??
