I live in Korea. Visit Seoul often. But I have to tell you all...doesn't matter where you go in this world, if you don't have family and friends, every place is a lonely place. To me, Seoul is a very empty and lonely place. The only thing that matters is if you have people in your life to share with. Then any city and any country becomes a magical and beautiful place.
@Eric Yoon I feel you. A lot of foreigners treat Korea like their little playground because the US military is stationed here and with 28,000 troops create their own little america and go out to hongdae and itaewon and bars and stuff. Of course not all of them. A lot of them are family people who are mature. But the young ones, esp. the guys come here thinking how to just have fun. Seriously, there is no point to have 28,000 US troops in South Korea. There is no threat from North Korea at all. They are not going to invade or ever will. They just want their own sovereignty. There really only should be 2,000 or less US troops here mostly administrators or contractors but wtf 28,000 troops need to be here for? And 50,000 in Japan? WTF. They need to get out of Asia (I mean it in a good way, cuz other parts of the world need help, not South Korea or Japan) or at least go back to America and fix your home since America is in trouble.
@Eric Yoon On the other side, Korea shouldn't try to be the lap dogs for US and UK. I feel like Korea just wants to follow the same path as UK and America and that's bad news. Korean society has become very superficial and it's such a drastic change from the hardworking generation of our parents and grandparents. Sure, today's Koreans are kinder, more educated, and skilled etc., but our families are dying, nobody is having babies, people aren't getting married, elderly are being abandoned, good healthy korean food is disappearing for fried chicken and pizza and burgers. Korea has the highest suicide and depression rate in the world and people think Korea is like this magical place of kpop tv shows movies and music where all your dreams come true to meet your dream korean oppa or dream korean girl. It isn't reality. It's the same when foreigners used to dream of going to America and they thought they'd all become rich and famous like hollywood celebs and marry their pamela anderson and her blonde hair and big boobs and baywatch babes. The fact is, 99.9% of America doesn't look like hollywood or live like hollywood. It's such a false representation. America is a very hard country where you have to toil and slave away to make your dreams come true, but the opportunity is there! That's the main thing. So in the same way, ppl think Korea is this dream country they want to live in and it isn't like that. I wanted to live in Japan because I thought I would meet Sailor Moon and live my life like a Sailor Moon episode but Japan isn't like that, it's just an anime! LOL.
I love it when it rains, there's less people outside and instead of hearing chatter, you hear the sound of the rain, the ambience is so nice too, like you're in a movie. I love rain so much.
Your shooting and camera skills are so good and clean I'm in love with this video. Felt peaceful only by looking and listening to this. Didn't knew Yongsan is such a clean and beautiful place, i get it now why bighit and bts made their giant hybe here 🤩
New buildings continue to be built around this area. A high-rise apartment complex becomes a huge night view from the Han River. Areas that have not been developed yet have atmospheric restaurants and bars. There are not many people, and the unique atmosphere that only acquaintances visit is attractive. However, there is an open possibility that the region will be developed in the future. But not everyone will welcome it. And there is a U.S. military base in Yongsan, and there is a story that they are moving. Then, it is said that there is a plan to create a very sophisticated and wonderful large park there. In a true sense, it is highly likely to be the center of Seoul. In fact, Yongsan is the most geographically located in the center of Seoul.

Everything looks amazing from far ! Like , I also wanna visit Seoul (south Korea) once coz m an army 💜 But life there isn't as easy as we imagine , there's high competition be it studies or job opportunities ! Kdramas r totally fictional and they hardly have anything relatable to day to day life ! People there live quite a stressful life and thus South Korea has quite a high suicide rate !
Sus producciones de TV, novelas etc están muy mal actuados y con situaciónes irreales que tratan de pasar como reales resultando en algo ridiculo y patétitco.
What a perfect setting. Beautiful foliage color, gentle rain, wide sidewalks, old buildings, not too many people. This is paradise! Really appreciate these videos!
Why is this city so magical 🤩 never knew I would fall in love with a city like this geez my eyes are blessed from watching this! Everything looks so calm and aesthetically pleasing.
I use to live there. It was exactly like this video... the serene ambiance like living in a fairytale. To this day, seeing this video still makes me sad because I miss it so much. However, during the time I was there, I was alone. I have walked those streets countless times in the sun, in the rain, and even in the snow, watching couples passerby and wondering if one day it will be someone watching me with my love. It was loneliness that eventually made me leave and come home.
This is true for anywhere. You can't expect to plop into a city and have a great time. It takes at least a couple of years, need to know the language and culture, and have a reason to be there (family, friends, job). Like anywhere else, it will be lonely because you're not 'home'. I had the same feeling while I was in Korea but I don't attribute it as a unique Seoul experience, it takes time like anything else that matters in life. I wish I lived in London, Paris, Sao Paulo, etc... the feeling will be the same.
I had to skim through it as it's weird to me to watch these nighttime rain walk videos during the day but, I just want to say the quality of this is amazing I've saved it to my walking playlist and would 100% recommend others do too as this is one of the best I've seen. when I'm in bed tonight I will be listening to this with headphones on to really immerse myself. I find these kinds of walking videos in the rain so relaxing and so intriguing to watch the detail and the people passing by minding their own business especially having never gone to Asia it really feels like I am there when watching videos like this. I love it.
I'm from France 🇨🇵 i went to Seoul in 2019 i really appreciate more than what I was waiting for, the cleanliness the education of the people the efficiency of the services...things we don't see in France
Watching this from a third world country like Brazil, where the most of streets are filthy and full of homeless, it's like a movie; a fantasy. Everything is so clean, organized and modern. That's is awesome! I'd love live in a place like this.
The good thing about Korea is that it is a safe country where there is no danger even if a woman walks alone on the streets at any time in the early morning hours. The chances of encountering a robber are slim to none.
It's amazing that Seoul, where I live for granted, can be an exotic city that no one else has ever seen. (I can feel that there are really colorful people in the world!) And I live in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, and the night view where I live is really pretty. It's a really clean and safe city.(I watch movies at night and walk home at dawn!) The restaurant is open from 9 to 10 p.m. on average. Korea is a good country to live in. Maybe I am going to study in the U.S. next year, but I miss my life in Korea, so I will come back when I graduate from college🤣

Hello from India 🇮🇳 Thank u so much for making us live these moments , like I haven't been to Seoul before but watching this I feel as if I had an amazing trip to the places shown ! I m not used to watching such huge buildings and skyscrapers but Ur video made me watch these ! Thank u so much !
I'm Korean and I have relatives who live in Seoul. My cousin's house is about a 5-minute walk from the new HYBE entertainment building. I had the chance to see it when I went there last year. I feel fortunate when I get to see these structures when I am in Korea. It makes me feel special.
I have a severe anxiety and living in small village where basically everybody knows everybody, I love to take a walk alone during night or at dawn to avoid people for greeting me.. However big city always gets my heart pounder whenever I walked out alone, but soon I'll get calmer due to the vast anonymity and indifference, especially during the rainy day when everyone busy with their own thoughts or destination. Idk if it a good thing to mention, but i oddly find comfort in isolation and loneliness.. And watching this video makes me happy and calm, just you leisurely walk alone along the street in not so quiet city during rain such an astonishing experience.. (Pardon any mistakes in my english)
I think people's misfortunes are rare to make on their own. I think people are much more likely to have anxiety due to the environment exposed from an early age. In addition, I recently learned that even those born in an unstable state of mind are improved by acquired things in a good environment. I think it's very difficult to change yourself. It's something that people talk about easily, but it's much harder than that. What I want to say is that there are people who are unhappy by fate, not by their own choice. That's very unfortunate. If the warm interest around you continues, it could be improved. But if you don't, you have to get out of it yourself. This is because a positive life is much more valuable and meaningful than a life that is not. I am also well aware of treating loneliness as loneliness. In fact, this video was taken by such a person.
That's a great expression. I think I know what it is. I want to be a good person. But I don't think it's easy for anyone in real life. I think that's normal people.
Thank you so much for making this. I lived in Korea for quite a few years to study and then for work. This brings back so many memories for me as I used to drive around alot. Thanks!
Living in a different country would be a special experience that anyone would never forget. Of course, there are some difficulties, but as time goes by, it magically becomes a good memory. Come visit often. Thank you for watching my video!

That's the area where I stayed during my last visit to Seoul in 2018. So happy to revisit this area of Seoul! Looking forward to visiting again what is my favourite country in the world. Love from Greece.
I have visited Greece, too. Of course, I climbed the highest hill in Athens and visited two islands. I also liked the time in Meteora. I still remember the small village below and the rather dry landscape. It was a good time. often come here 🙂
@@SeoulTripWalk thank you so much for your reply. You're doing excellent work! Meteora is such a unique place. When you visit again, I recommend trying the smaller islands in the Dodecanese (e.g. Simi, Karpathos) or the mountainous Epirus. There's always something new to explore.
You know, frankly, I think the South Koreans have higher standard of living compared to us. Their public transport, public bathroom, public whatever are very clean and actually usable, it was a stark difference when I came back home. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I was in the clean side of South Korea, but the couple of years of visit to South Korea were the best days of my life.
Among all the street view's video on Yt, I like this one a lot. When I watch it it feels like i was there. I feel familiar with that building, that street, like de javu. But in fact i never go to South Korea. I always watch it before I go to sleep or when Im feeling blue.

The rain and city sounds are oddly calming 😊
Harika bir video olmuş 👍👍👍

Almost dreamlike, I watch these videos while working side by side, very therapeutic.
Thank you 😄
I'm Korean and I have relatives who live in Seoul. My cousin's house is about a 5-minute walk from the new HYBE entertainment building. I had the chance to see it when I went there last year. I feel fortunate when I get to see these structures when I am in Korea. It makes me feel special.
Hi
I never imagined that this type of music could actually be so relaxing ... I listen to it and feel that all my stress goes away. I love this.🥰😴😴😴😴😴
음악도 좋고 색감도 이뿌고. 많이 힐링했어요❤
i love this a lot, the video makes me feel calm
🤩😍🥰
This is the best video about South Korea than I see in my life. I want to go there. It"s really good!!!
나도 작은 마을 사는데 다 아는 사람이라 스터디 카페도 안 감 너무 불편해
it looks unreal, wow
I find these so relaxing I could watch it forever ❤️
The sound of rain, lights and the view, I was living in this moment for a while.. Really #peaceful and #beautiful ❤️
these types of videos make me feel in another place, as if I were not from this bad world...
@@SeoulTripWalk fingers crossed for the world to have a safe and speedy recovery from covid. I will definitely make an effort to visit Korea again, as it will always have a special place in my heart. Stay safe ☺️

Hello Alijawati how are you doing?
Love, love rain so much ☔☔☔
Really a beautiful City Seoul 💙
oneday to visit BTS museum for sure ..😍😍😍
i live away from the city that's usually at the heart of our country and we go there whenever we have to go to the airport. so watching this gave me major airport feels for some reason, and makes me want to travel.
Went to Europe recently and while I admire their classical structures and art galleries, their technology is behind these developed Asian countries.

😀I never thought I'd hear Son Heung-min, a Korean soccer player who plays for Premier Gri in England, often. Your words please me. Thank you very much for your encouragement.
Incredible well-made footage! Perfect colors, sharpness and choice of depth of field! Very relaxing and enjoyable to watch. Thank you and keep up the great work!

@@veldringr I'll definitely go there if I have a chance. Thanks for the recommendation.😆
Lucky guy❤️ I'm also from Athens, I hope to visit Seoul someday
It is so clean everywhere
A hello from Brazil
hello bts
My biggest dream is going to korea oneday and i really fell in love with korean culture….lots of thing that I can’t describe 💗
I want to see and experience Seoul so much.
Cheers from Italy and extraordinary filming by the way.
Everyone is so stylish! Hope to one day visit this beautiful city☺️
thank you 🤩🤩🤩
You know, frankly, I think the South Koreans have higher standard of living compared to us.
🙂
such a beautiful city....love from India
so beauty and modern
Thank you 🤗

Don't fantasize too much. It's similar to big cities around the world. ha ha ha
Thank you for loving our country♥
Hope you can come here soon ♥
this is my dream. I love Seoul in rainy weather. I love you Seoul.
My neighborhood ❤️ so convenient, peaceful, well connected, close to all the other famous neighborhoods, KTX, a great shopping center, spas, cinemas, museums... all you need is in Yongsan! The day I leave Korea, I will always remember how happy I was living here 🥰
I was there in Yongsan as well! I loved every moment of it. People were so civilized and the city is so so clean. I was dumbfounded how they all function like normal people, unlike in Los Angeles where people are rude inconsiderate and freakin weird people
When I fell so sad and so tired.. Then I watch this video then I fell so motivated for my goal.. Because I love Seoul 💜💜💜💕💕💕💕 and I want to go there 💗💗💗.. Because I'm BIG FAN of 💜ᗷTS⟭⟬💜💜💜💜💜💜
