Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a JRPG made by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo. It is one of my favorite games of all time and the first game I bought on my Switch.

I couldn't enjoy that song until I got it out of my head, took like a month and a half
Yeah the meme completely ruined it for me lmao. Similarly, I can't watch the XC1 cutscenes without thinking of Theaggyu's YTPs. The early Colony 9 scenes and the bit at Meyneth Shrine especially have been destroyed lmao.
I realized I forgot Incoming and Counterattack. Sorry about it! At least Monolith Soft isn't stingy about their soundtracks so they're easily available on RUclips.
Counterattack isn't a battle theme though, it's only played in cutscenes.

@@Felixr2 it used in some battles I am pretty sure but in the type of battles where you just can't lose so it might as well be a cutscene lol
@@Sunray625 I checked the two battles I know where you can't lose no matter what. SPOILERS
At the end of chapter 3 where you unlock Mythra and the end of Chapter 7 when you unlock Pneuma are the two battles where I'm pretty sure you can never die. I both of these, Counterattack plays in the cutscene, but the moment gameplay starts it switches to You Will Recall Our Names

Most of the battles are upbeat and rough, but then 'The power of Jin' hits with a more melancholy, smooth note, which just portrays him perfectly.
It's fittingly somber for how tragic his character is. Defeating him doesn't feel triumpant, but it feels like you're ending his misery.

I like how Zeke, Jin, and Amalthus got to be the portraits for their personal themes. It's also see that Akhos gets to stand in for the rest of Torna, and Poppi QT gets Rosa's theme, which is clever.

game's good, but has bad tutorials, i recommend looking at chuggaconroy's explanation, that will help you enjoy it a lot more

The refrain in Death Match with Torna is one of my favorite melodies ever. It's extremely underrated in my opinion but it might be cause that theme sounds like twice in the game. Luckily it was included in smash so we can listen to it as much as we want

@@Flomen01 That's so true. I only played the Switch version, and to me, that was the normal soundtrack (which was still kind of lackluster). But when I heard the MIDI soundtrack on RUclips, oh boy was surprised at just how bad it sounded.

i really like it too! the theme of trying to defeat the lv 8 driver at the bulletin board in gormott. The first time I fought him i was blown away by the music. Realized eventually that I should wait until I had more party members than just rex to fight him lmao

I suspect that the names of Monster Surprised You and Those Who Stand Against Our Path were swapped in development for whatever reason. They fit perfectly if you swap them but make little sense normally

What I love about bringer of chaos is that it’s kind of goofy as it should be cos Zeke is kind of a goofy villain (like Team Rocket) but then it still goes hard as hell…. Probably disguising our boys hidden depths we learn as the story goes on.
