So stoked for a new video! Keep ‘em coming man! As a big MMJ fan, (my wife and I saw them last April, and I also saw them with Band Of Horses back in 2012) I went ahead and ordered the Live at Bonaroo vol III album. I do need to go back and check out the other live releases as well. They are PHENOMENAL live! Jim James is an Incredible musician.
Steve Gorman is a new morning radio host on Minnesota's Classic Rock - KQRS Morning Show. He's phenominal. He replaced Tom Barnard who was a legend for the morning show since the 80's. Steve took over shortly after the new year.
Gonna try that Isbell at last, you promoted it enough ! Rival Sons, Extreme, Queens Of The Stone Age, Motorpsycho, The Ocean Collective, Metallica, Deus, Enslaved and a few more so far for me in 2023. Great video !
The new Temples album Exotico is on my list of favorite 2023 releases. It is their 4th release. Temples is Neo-psychedelia English rock band, formed in Kettering, England in 2012 by singer and guitarist James Bagshaw and bassist Tom Walmsley. The band's lineup was later completed with the addition of keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Adam Smith and drummer Rens Ottink.
Fan of your channel and great video. I have that Jason Isbell release in my “to listen to” pile. Also recently played his version “Midnight Train To Georgia” on my radio show.
That Jason Isbell album is something special. I don’t know how he continues to write better and better songs each cycle. Saw him in Dallas back in May and it was amazing.
I got that Course of Empire, couldn’t believe I finally have this on vinyl. Saw them here in Atlanta back in the day opening for Prong or Genitorturers, can’t remember which, I just remember being instantly hooked and have loved them ever since. Totally missed very original band that should have been HUGE!
Love the QOTSA album also. I have the PJ clear album and love it. I would put the Rival Sons album in there for sure. I like the new Metallica album although I get that anything Metallica is polarizing.
For me, there’s only one album I’m looking forward to, and that’s Greta Van Fleet’s “STARCATCHER.” An incredibly talented band whose last album, “The Battle At Garden’s Gate” was a rock and sonic masterpiece. “STARCATCHER” is being released July 21st.
I thought reunions was just a political ad. Listened to weathervanes less in your face. Trying to learn how to like the person even though I might not like the message. But I guess I can’t get a “ if we were vampires “ on every album.

No “Rattled Humming Heart” by The Midnight Callers? Very surprised! Cheers Matt

Very cool! Appreciate you watching.
Looking forward to your picks , cheers 🍺

Yes indeed. I was at that Dallas show, and saw him at Red Rocks the week before. Both were fabulous
Jason’s new LP is awesome! Seen him live about a few dozen times. Rival Sons new LP is a banger.
Knowing your musical tastes, I think you would like Rat Saw God by Wednesday. It’s my second favorite record of the year behind Weathervanes.
Will have to check it out! Thx!

Preach it. I love it too. Can’t even believe our team was able to press it. So proud of that one.
@@NTXVinyl You should be proud, that was a truly killer record to finally get to vinyl. Good job brother, good job!

right on! Need to check out that Rival Sons. Seeing Metallica next month, got my 13yr old tickets for his bday.
@@NTXVinyl Yep, I'm seeing Metallica in Montreai August 11 and 13. Looking forward to it. I hope your son enjoys the shows.

Absolutely. We’ve pre-sold a ton of that one. Highly anticipated by many.

Reunions was about as personal as an album can get. Got watch the writing of it on the HBO doc
