Paisley is a natural behind the camera. She’s also a good cowgirl in the making again thanks for taking us along tell Damaris that she has that glow about her. It’s a wonderful thing to watch your family work together and here in Michigan. I’m just beginning to think about weaning. I usually wait until we have a killing frost so that the fly pressure is eliminated. Your calves and cows look wonderful. Good luck and stay safe. Thanks for taking a salon.
Awesome to see Damaris is doing well. Hope your few remaining show up so you do not need to do any looking for them. I expect you have snow by now. Stay safe and healthy.
I remember them long day moving cattle, in my teens and twenty's love every minute of it. Ride fences being all alone. Oh I wish I were young again just for that. I was blessed to have lived were I could have lived that life. Love it.
We were doing the same thing yesterday. We are racing to be prepped and ready for a blizzard heading in tonight. Expecting 20 inches of snow up here in the high country with 35 mph winds. Yuck. You guys have the best of luck and our prayers are with you all that everything goes well getting winter prepped down there. HUGS to Damaris as she copes with the heavy-belly-time
@@fordenginebuildersv8power184 well THANK YOU! You enjoy that Arizona weather though that sounds pretty cold for you at this point right? Well, just stay safe & warm friend. Up here, we get an average of 25 FEET of annual snowfall & have seen -30 to -40 temps pretty often each year. We and our animals have antifreeze for blood!! 😂🤣😂
This easterner from Maryland did a week-long trail ride in South Dakota back in the '80s. Through Custer State Park, road right up to Mount Rushmore. Gunsel trail riding adventures might have been the name of the outfit. Had a Cherokee Wrangler his wife was the cook and his 12-year-old son was right in there also. For some reason your video reminded me of that. Another great video that is a refuge from this wicked world 😀💪 Live in Tennessee now and it feels good just to get my 50 head hauled back home from the rented pasture.
Carson, thanks for another beautiful day on the ranch. Hi Demaris! You’re looking so beautiful. Not too much longer! Oh, the little ones are so cute. Paisley is such a good cow hand. And she’s great with the camera too! Tell those cows that at least they aren’t going to hamburger camp. Maybe they will move a little better. I like the part where everybody’s done and time is taken to talk a little about the day. Thanks for raising meat to feed people. Thanks for sharing.
Great footage of Easton and his little fur hat, that is a priceless memory. Can tell Paisley will probably be a future Cow herder and You tuber. Glad that you got some cows safely home before the storms come. Can't believe your baby is coming already next month. Wishing you both the best with a happy and healthy baby.
I can’t wait for your little one- I love how your family is involved with everything! So sweet the little shaver in the raccoon hat! ❤ You all have a great day!
I remember going through woods during freezing weather. Limbs hitting ears was always "fun".Don't miss the cold weather. Your blog is a favorite of mine.
Just found your page Carson, i can’t believe how beautiful that scenery is. I’m from northwest iowa so all i get to see is corn and hog sheds. You guys are living my dream!
Lots of cows. Hard to believe there is a winter storm coming. The kids are cute. Paisly is quite the cowgirl. I love it. Soon Demaris is going to be a Mommy. The drone footage is great. We here in Southern Ontario Canada had 4 days of rain. Some days were heavier than others. The temperatures got down to freezing and the frost was on the roof tops. Today we sat outside to drink coffee with out a jacket. It is so nice . The sky is blue , the robins are still here and they are singing. Keep up the good work . I love each video.
Great job on the video and loved the sound track. The drone shots are gorgeous shows the beautiful scenes and change into fall and winter. Hopefully you get some H2O in some form or another. We need some more down here @ Double Trouble Creek, Springtown TX . Y’all be blessed and safe.
That little guy is so sweet!!! Love that little raccoon hat….Your wife looks great!! Seems like the pregnancy the time has flown….The last few weeks is when that little will really grow..I’m sure you both are so excited…Beautiful day to move cows….Cows are looking great….Stay safe with your incoming weather…You really don’t need a blizzard.. but the moisture will be great!!!!Have a great day!!😊
It was good to see Demaris, Thanks. Paisly was so cute and quite the cowgirl. I have great memories from my grandparents farms, always spent time in the summer on both of them. Your families cows always look so healthy. Believe it or not we had to bring the dairy cows down from the highest plateau on the side of the mountains in NC to the lowest one for winter. Love & Peace to All
Love the videos Carson! So glad I came across your channel. The short time I’ve watched your channel I feel like I’ve known you and your family my whole life. Even Jacque lol. Keep up the great work

Great video!!! Demaris is looking about ready to have her a calf lol (just kidding love) Awesome drone footage and I LOVE the music you chose..Just love your channel, stay safe and God Bless.
Fantastic coming across your channel. I grew up on Frawley ranches off the I90 deadwood exit. That little area to the left , at the base of Elk-Horn mountain was my home between the four-lane going to deadwood and the branch road to St Onge. At the time (70's) Hank and his dad were running the ranches. He had just married back then, and had a boy in mid 70s that I think now, his grandson runs the ranches and is selling the land off in pieces. Henry would be rolling in his grave I think. Anyways, It is nice seeing land that I remember from so long ago. Keep it up and never let it go.
Great job Paisley! Love the ground and air footage together. I can't believe Damaris is due in a month already. She looks so cute but tired. Winter is a coming for you for sure. Good luck with the snow
Those kids are so cute. Soon you’ll add your own to the herd of future Sleep ranchers. Can’t wait. Tell Demaris she is a beautiful mother to be. Wish I was there helping you guys out with the cattle. But y’all would work me under the table. I’m definitely not in near as good of shape as you and Jacques. Do you boys work out or is that just hard working farm boy conditioning lol. God bless and hope all goes well in the snow.
Case You Seem to be getting great weather for gathering cows and pairs up the temperature seems to be low wish the UK had a bit lower temp we are sitting on a high 17oC
Im guessing some cattle are left in the mtns for one reason or another... How do they manage a winter there ? I was in SD in May a few yrs ago & in the higher elevations the snowpack was "feet" deep.

Snowing in Utah today
How much does a calf weigh when you wean them & how many fit on a semi trailer?
We estimated that they weight 625-650 on average, at that size we could get 84 or so on a trailer!
