I only spent about $1,500 on repairs; paint, new wiring, new carpet, re-built table, window blinds, new propane tanks, propane regulator, shower head, and curtains. I lived in my 25 ft travel trailer for 7 years, saving up a TON of money for a down payment on a house.
These make GREAT 2nd homes when needed. Years ago, I lived in a 25 foot travel trailer (by choice) and I saved up enough to put a nice down payment on a house.
🥺Sadly, I do have an acre - off grid - sparce population - - yet zoning won't allow RVs, nothing with "wheels". They are afraid it might bring down the current property values of a a couple of the mobile homes surrounded by vehicles on cinder blocks, & indoor couches🤦♂️
He said no tear down sht the roof the entire frame of trailer is rotted out you have to do more then restore rebuild from frame and all its a sht coop 😂😅
I just bought an 18’ Toyota Sunrader micro motorhome. Interior in good shape, frame and undercarriage, tires all good. Putting in a new 22R engine, redoing water system and exterior lights. Painted interior white with blue accent. Fun job. Looking forward to taking her out next summer. She has hail damage on her hood so I call her “Dimples”. 🤗
roofs shot ,rotted framing etc -thats a project in itself . walls are effected ,who knows what extent ? the siding cant be screwed down and is loose and wide open because the framing is rotted and screws wont hold anymore . id call this a total wreck
@@DanKirchner5150 You could turn that trailer into a mansion. Just the clear title and frame alone with four new tires is worth $5000. A single person could build and attach a wrap around deck and live like royalty anywhere in North America. What a bargain!
This will be a great project for somebody that doesn’t have a ton of money but loves to go out and camp, but it’s over the tent camping. Perhaps a little little older now and sleeping on the ground even on the air mattress is rough.
Picture yourself living out of a 2-door coupe with 3 dogs over 3 to 4 years -, having to move daily from spot to spot or you'll get that "knock". I see one sharing the couch. - I see a place to make a hot cup of coffee during 27°F weather. -I see the interior small enough for our body heat to keep it warm enough - about 20 degrees warmer than outside. - I see a place to sleep undisturbed at any time. - I see paradise🥰

I’d consider buying it for when I build my cabin. I’d put next to nothing into it, run it into the ground, and then tow it to the trash dump once my cabin was finished. It looks disposable to me.
Hey Isolated NOT The problem is flooring in these older campers were not to any code. No actual structure so once you start repairing one section you need to continue it the whole area.
LOVE the original vintage inside and out...most times idiots have gutted the interior or changed to horrible colors non-original. It actually looks loved or gently used...aside from structural/leaks that are going to happen over time, and for whatever reason, maybe it was stashed, and not addressed. I'm fine w/that, considering the overall. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if near S.C. just below Charlotte NC area...like the dual axle, and prob w/in towing weight for a Jeep Liberty...then if used it just once a year, it's not eating much...and back it into th lower back beside a purpose built grade level deck...I ALWAYS have some buddy from over the years needing to crash for a week or month when life falls apart at home. In the meantime can dick around w/it as a project fixing whatever....the originality IS A BIG DRAW THO, I wouldn't change a thing vintage...and that's a hard find, trumps whatever work needed, for me anyway...and pocket change of a purchase on the front end really.
Oh this hurts! Such a darling, adorable camper... someone should have tarped it at the first sign of misplaced water! Someone is going to kill it's charm by completely remodeling it instead of restoring it. Smh. What a terrible loss.

I have to say I’m impressed with the layout of that bathroom.
I love the rustic cabin feel to this trailer. Exactly what i am looking for.
I had NO RENT, all my utilities were propane, and I would spend weekends camped out at the lake. After 7 years, I had a NICE down payment for a house.
