Bought a 19ft c class chev chassis, 1981 with 33000kms all original, counters tops have no marks, all appliances work, bath with shower. Love it. Yours looks great, may it be enjoyed for many more yrs. I paid 12000 cdn.
Exterior looks very well taken care of and interior looks great. My only concern would be the 30 + year old motor regardless of any improvements. I think this would be a perfect weekender for someone looking to dable in RV life.
I would take a 30 year old 350 over any 3 year old motor of today! The Chevy 350 is the most reliable longest running engine Ever! FACT'S!!! You must not know much about cars...
$$$$ I checked with my insurance company and if I was to get into a accident and total the camper they would only pay around 7,000 so check with your adjusters not your agent. 😎
"Due to the year Richard, The Item is in very good condition. You have maintained it well. It is vintage and is still up with modern technology. I like the vehicle." 👍
I have to agree with a previous comment: it's overpriced, especially for such a small unit. Also nothing about the bottom end in the engine being redone, transmission rebuilt, brakes redone?
Exactly! There is soo much more that can go wrong with a coach this old. Worth about half of asking price, motorhome prices are falling like a rock in some places!😊
It is worth $8000-$12000 depending on the interest level of the buyer. This is Portland so who knows, maybe 100 homeless people will chip in and share it.
He didn’t build anything. He literally pained what was already there. And the cushion covers are generic stretch covers over the old upholstery. And I’d bet the floors are laid over old Linoleum. Just another person trying to cash in on a hot market. But nothing wrong with that. He’s pretty much married to it for what’s he’s asking.
$29k for a small 1986 class C motorhome? Is this a joke?? Even if it had zero miles, it would still be a $5,000 RV tops! I just bought an '86 32ft Tiffin Allegro class A in great condition for $2000. And an Itasca is no Tiffin.
True, but the rising cost of hotels and van life popularity have created a demand for RVs, campers and converted vans. It might be a seller's market right now, but until sellers become more reasonable, I won't be buying anytime soon.
@@weewhitedug5082 The ridiculous "van life" idea is dead. Except for meth heads and otherwise homeless people, living in a van is for the mentally challenged and crazy people.. I buy and sell used rv's and campers. The rv market has crashed. You would be lucky to break even to pay off your note on anything sold in the last ten years. its really cool and i really like the use of bed space but $13-$15K is the absolute max you could get for this thing, and im guessing this has a 350 Chevy in it which in my personal opinion is just not enough power for this application ,id want a 454.
Dad had a Suburban with a 40 gallon tank and a 454 to pull our 25' Heritage travel trailer across the USA when I was a kid for 8 weeks over the summer. Best Times Ever! But yeah I agree this is way under powered for how heavy it is. Especially with the "improvments"
Throwbacks are cool and this one looks to be in good shape for what it is but I just paid $22k for a 2017 Majestic 28a that required none of this refurbishment and is $7000 less expensive, comes with a generator and won't likely break down on the road. That said, this is cool for what it is and this was posted a year ago so you prob ably sold it. Would be cool to know what you got for it.
Great rid only thing is even this is remodeled is worth what you are asking for unless I get my insurance to come with a adjuster they won't pay that much if it is total because they see it was a older rv
the problem with older vechiles is all the seals and gaskets and hoses get old and leak and cause alot of issues... this is really high price in my opinion
Yes true! Looked like some water was leaking down the left side when camera panned over. But could be from recent rain? But very important to check for leaks
Dislike when people paint over the wood. It so cheap and trashy looking clean it up or replace them painting just ruins any upgrade. I mean the only thing higher than the price on this motor home is the guy trying to sell it that thing is tops $4,500 bucks you pay a penny more and I have three classic Volkswagens you'll want to look at. SMH
@@justinchapman8844 You're a clown. It's called RV Trader and these in this condition and better sell for 4-5 grand and they aren't all painted to death and most actually took he cushions to an upholstery shop and had the cushions recovered properly. RVs depreciate they are not cars they NEVER go up in value ever.
I would have scrambled to get my hands on that....until I saw inside. Imo, you completely ruined it. I specifically look for older motorhomes because of the darker, cozier interiors. I can not STAND the stark, plain white. Everything white, white, white. I don't want to feel like I'm in a doctor's office when I'm trying to relax and enjoy being out in nature, away from home. I like the woodsy, cabin-like feel inside. It's warm and cozy and I like feeling cozy, woodsy feel of being outside but being inside and safe. I'm hope you got what you wanted for it cuz if it had still been for sale when I found this and it hadn't been turned ugly, I'd have given you top dollar for it. Guess I keep looking.
Excellent comment. Every single one of these refurbishments it is the same White, Grey and sometimes black decor. I knew what colour the inside of this camper would be like before seeing the inside. It is nicely done but like you I prefer the older 'more cozy' interiors and just because some of them might look 'dated' it does not mean that they cannot still be made cozy. I also notice this with some of these van builds as well. Just look at some of the van build videos and it is much the same with the overdone colours of White and Grey. I wished I could upvote your comment several times as I totally agree with you.
I think all that white paint makes it look cheap and tacky. If it were really taken camping it would start looking dirty very quickly. slathring everything in white paint makes it look like you just didn't care
Nice clean looking rig, I see some of the larger window gaskets have shrunk (like they ALL do) wish there was an easier way to fix that. If I was single this would be a nice, compact RV. Love the vinyl plank and light color scheme! Did you do the make over or did the previous owner?
29k is ridiculous for the age an it’s honestly not even that spaceful you can buy a badass 2021 or even younger hella room for 10k-29k cmon now I’m buying an camper to live in for 5k an it’s 2tjmes that size

This is a beautiful camper RV. Classic style!
the perfect rv right here, small and easy to repair, good on gas, fits anywhere, easy to drive and has all the wants of being in a comfortable house.
Excellent camera and voice work. I know it’s a year old video, but I like the remodel you did, even though I live in Texas.

That was my first RV, it lasted a year, way to small even for one. Then I decided to buy a 40 footer with slides, now I’m comfortable.
29k is a little high however it is pretty nice. Perfect size for a couple doing a road trip or local camping and it fit's in the driveway.
Do not buy it check around lots of junk for 35 grand
Lmfao..$29k..you're tripping.
More like 15,000
Literally a $10-$12,000 RV on a good day...........
