Hank is a friendly American steam engine and he's very helpful to others and even Thomas. Sadly, he only visited Sodor once in one episode, "Heave Ho Thomas", to help Thomas with the heavy load and later participated in the his welcoming party in Knapford Station.
Thomas and Rosie are like Stan marsh and Wendy Testaburger from South Park, since both of them have blue and pink colors, and both of them get into arguments sometime, like in the season 22 episode Rosie is red
Flora is also underappreciated as well since she too appeared in one episode, My favorite American character will be Philip, I like that he's one happy little fellow.

If I had to pick a favourite American Thomas character, I would have to go with Rosie, since she's also my favourite female character in the whole show. I understand why you prefer her US voice to her UK ones, but I have a theory that she would've picked up a British accent while working in the harbours of Southampton with Thomas's class. Though I definitely agree with you that she's basically the Amy Rose of Thomas. I think it goes quite nicely with how Amy has become more mature in later Sonic media, like how Rosie matured in Season 21. As a side note, do you think Cindy Robinson would be a good voice for Rosie in the US dub with her Amy Rose voice?

I like Rosie, as well. Her Pink Deco was unique, as the other Engines were Blue, Green, Black, or in the case of James & Skarloey, Red. But I never saw a Pink Train Engine in any show of I have watched (train related or not). It was a shame that later series had Rosie in Red, but she was a still good character. They did okay when they first stepped in, but they were bad during the Sharon Miller era. Thankfully, they ended on an overall positive note with Season 16 and Blue Mountain Mystery.
