Sorry about the bad luck at the end, but the video was great anyway! Always happy to see the Fliptown campaign progress (or try to!). As for the audio issues, man, I didn't want to say anything before, but you always have audio issues. :) In fact, this might have been the less problematic Fliptown video in that regard. Usually there was some skipping ahead, like dropping frames, possibly a video acquisition or compression issue? Nothing that would prevent me from enjoying the vids, though. I also always have to boost the volume up. I don't know, the mic might have something to do with it (paired with the fact that you're generally soft-spoken), although it looks like a professional mic to me. But it might be time to gift yourself a new one for Christmas. :)
I've adjusted it so many times, and every time I think I get things just right, I feel like it reverses itself. One day I'll solve it, or try a different mic. I think the one I use for the physical table games is working out better (now) so I might adjust to that for these. But weirdly, I haven't had the same issues when doing the video game stuff, which, is the exact same setup. Anyway, I appreciate the feedback. All I can do is try and improve, and it helps to know someone's watching to do so!
I'd still try Pioneer Rails if I encountered it in the wild, but yeah, Fliptown has a special place for me for it's core loop. I still yearn for something that takes this play style to the next level, somehow, but for it's weight and footprint, it's an A-tier game for me.
