- When Sir Handel and Peter Sam were remembering back when they use to work on the Mid Sodor Railway to Rusty, they both questioned how did Bertram manage to survive after the railway hit closure? And this is the story Bertram told them.

Yeah, and I’m glad we had Andreas in the story, and his fate was like his fate in Wildnorwesters universe.
Bertram’s backstory was so interesting and tragic. And it explains how he meet Toby.
Sir Handel and Duncan with the female engines was probably one of the funniest bits in the series.
Isn't Mille the only female narrow gauge engine on the SKR?

Another excellent episode as always, Adam. TBH, I was a bit skeptical about my performance as Peter Sam and Toby; but overall it turned out pretty good! I really got a good kick from both the jokes and the story too!

Not many use both Smudger and Stanley in their stories but it kinda fits.
The engines made fun of Peter Sam’s funnel for a bit till they realized how useful it was when Peter Sam went doing jobs without breaking his stride
