    Spot on Ma'am. looked at a lot of stuff on the internet that talks about growth including clips from the world's best universities but they talk about growth, not scaling ability. Good to understand the difference and vital if one is going to approach a VC and then show ignorance of the concept!!

      Thank you for the feedback! And we agree 100%. It's really important to know the difference because growth + scale are two different things that require different strategies to achieve!

    Can you please please please please offer some tools on what to do when you’re trying to grow a business or scale of business that has been flooded with competition in the past year? A lot of people have recently moved to my city and buy a lot. I mean over 1 million people in the past year alone. Unfortunately, that has caused the prices of everything from rent to services going up in price. But the most unfortunate thing is my business as a service business and a lot of the people who came over are in the same business as me, and they are practically giving away the service for free. I don’t want to go down in price to compete with these guys. Is there anything I can do?

    I believe growth is not the way you just mentioned; growth really comes from new profitable, sustainable and scalable business models
    enlarging your current business model through scaling it and improving its P/L does not enable growth of your business organization
    before all of this, a strategy is what really shaping growth

    • @HatchTribe
      @HatchTribe  2 года назад

      Agreed that a strategy is the most important part! You have to know if you have a scalable business model to begin with before taking action. Great point!

    Well explained with beauty and some dash of ‘whatever the heck’..I almost wanted to say that the mix of beauty, brevity and some dash of brass are a turn on but won’t say that.

    If you meet your EBITA, growth does generate more profit. Scaling is getting the business to run without you.

    • @HatchTribe
      @HatchTribe  3 месяца назад

      It's true that many business owners want to grow a business that can run without them. But a business that runs without the CEO/owner/founder, doesn't necessarily mean the business has "scaled". It just means they've built the team in a specific way that this 1 human is not necessary. That doesn't always equal SCALE.
