It is really frustrating, waking up in the morning hoping we have a good day, only to find ourselves anchored by the chronic illness and/or symptoms. It gives us anxiety, despair and sadeness and it is ok to allow this emotions to manifest and eventually pass but I firmly believe that we have to yearn for better days, to keep a bit of hope, to appeal to our pride, self steem and those who care for us. For all I know, this is the only way we have to endure but itis a harsh road.
You looked so happy and full of joy going to the theater and to the acrobatic show as well (it is really astounding how they balance and spin in the air with full control of their bodies, only now I realize how impressive it is). I hope that the days to come are better and the migraine fades.
    Rooting for you Kelly!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I agree - hope is essential. Have to keep some sliver of it there no matter what. Taking it one day at a time. I firmly believe the best is yet to come. Rooting for you also!

Thank you. Your comment made my day. Thank you for your compassion. We all have so much that goes unspoken, unknown and unnoticed. Sending you hugs for whatever you are warrioring through that others don't know about.

Thank you! I appreciate the hug! The best is yet to come! Just to clarify, the driving was back from before brain surgery in January/February 2023. I felt so free! THank you as always for the prayers.

Big hugs to you 💙 I had someone tell me once that they "powered through" their migraines and I should too... like I haven't been doing that having them every single day since I was a little kid (and no healthcare help for them until 10 years ago) not to mention my whole left side cramps up and gets ridiculously weak... but anyway, I'm obviously still annoyed by that judgment that someone had no right to make. No one knows what we go through! Even our closest people don't know the entirety of it. Anyway, just sending hugs. Yesterday was a migraine blur because I tried to paint the night before. So frustrating and just trying to heal after surgery, praying it helps. It's exhausting, I understand. Just know you are loved by so many and we emphasize and understand in our own ways. 💙

Don't you love when people give unsolicited advice that is unhelpful!? I don't understand why people are so judgmental. Even when we have the same diseases, our bodies are so unique and individual. We just can't compare. My heart goes out to you about the migraine post painting. So frustrating to hvae our bodies revolt when we try to do something. Take your time with healing. I know how hard it is to be patient with healing - I truly know. Rooting for you and sending love to you and R.

It's so unfortunate that you are suffering so much.
Watching you while I am recovering from temporary hearing loss caused by cochlear hydrop after being on steroids for 13 days. Still get light dizziness during the day.
I am wondering if you are still able to work at all with the condition.

So before the brain surgery (Vestibular Nerve Section), the Meniere's disease was completely debilitating. I wasn't able to work. It really varies person to person whether or not they can work depending on how long their vertigo episodes/attacks last. Some people can, some people can't.
Rooting for you. I hope that you got through the steroids okay and that your symptoms are improving. That's rough.
