lol, the music of Knights of the Round was far better than Warriors of Fate in which one could hardly listen to what the game was playing in the background. it mimicked western-style music so obvious that one could identify organ sounds on many occasions/stages, such as the king's castle, etc, etc. One could hear this kind of organ sounds in some other games released back in the 90s'. For example, Final Fantasy 6, which was released on Super Nintendo. It was a common phenomenon at the time. Remember that there was an electronic keyboard boom in the 90s as well that was related to mimic the biggest instruments in the world, organs. Back to the BGM, on the contrary, the BGM of Warriors of Fate was just a mess. It couldn't be called music, maybe the worst BGM I had listened to at the moment. It literally sounded like a Chinese-style opera, lol, imagine, a storyteller was telling a story of "东风吹,战鼓擂,现在世上谁怕谁","打,狠狠打!",于是 一通乱战,史称“三国志/演义"😂😂😂; So one could bearly hear any pleasing piece in the BGM, especially in a noisy arcade game center. It could be the reason why Capcom introduced or stressed sound effects in the 16bit sound source that the game boards could offer, such as attention-drawing voice acting, powerful drums, sounds of swords slashing flesh, and hammers crushing enemies' body, etc, etc. But, the gameplaying system of Warriors of Fate was far more advanced, deeper than Knights of the Round, in which Capcom embedded many designs of the newest, most successful, epoch-making game they developed ever in the 90s', Street Fighter 2. On the contrary again, the most useful gameplaying strategy in Knights of the Round was normal attacks(plain A/attack), which wasn't too far from Final Fight, the originator of beat 'em up games.
