it used to be 49% china 51% china project , but thanks to india who try to stop this development in lanka, the project stopped in 2015 s ,and lanka tried to partner usa or japan , but they didnt have that much advanced land reclaimation technology , finally lanka gone around and again came to china and now china took around 60% of the project bcz they doubted lanka will again cancel it if india said to,
thanks india who make more difficult to lanka to develop, 😂😂😂
and now the same indians call it chinese port city after taking away sri lanka s majority shares of the development😂
same happened when lanka first asked india to invest in hambantota port india didnt even cared, then lanka asked later from china and they agreed,
and now indians already have labled it as debt trap/military base/white elephant/ a threat lol,NONE OF THOSE ARE TRUE , what we see is jealousy and fear towards china and development of neighbours,
