Seeing this kid box with Ali reminds me of the time that I saw him many years ago. It was at a book signing in NYC- if I remember correctly it was at Bloomingdales, and the book's author Thomas Hauser was also there as well as Howard Bingham- Ali's photographer. Anyway, I read that he would be there so I got there early, but I didn't have any money to buy a book so my intention was just to get a glimpse of him. I remember being rather close maybe about 50 feet away. I felt so bad that I couldn't buy the book and actually meet him and shake his hand. I was just standing there staring, and after awhile he noticed me. He keep signing books, but than he started holding up his fist and doing his I wanna fight you antics, but very subtly. At first I didn't know who he was talking to so I looked around to see and when I looked back at him he pointed as if to say, I'm talking to you. I kinda smiled at first- you know being noticed by the champ, my idiol, but than he keep going(he never said a word to me just menacing gestures- biting his bottom lip and etc., but this is before the internet and such and I never saw him do this to anyone) and though I kinda felt in my heart that he was just joking, for a moment I couldn't tell if he was serious are not- he pysched me out. He had that look in his eyes and a serious look on his face. He keep montioning for me to come get my whooping. I was sooooo neverous so I was kinda frozen in my tracks. But seeing what he did to this kid I'm glad that I didn't take his offer, I probably would have pissed in my pants. What a man. Rip Muhammad Ali- you are truly the greatest!!!

It's funny how the same hypocrites in the politics and media who called him names and refused to see him as a muslim or as a human being, were the first to talk about him as if they knew him personally after his death. With his mouth he whipped his enemies and with his hands he kicked their face in. And, I think he was the first rapper as well.

I was watching a later interview where he recited his poem. "The image of truth is the crescent...the messenger of truth is Elijah Mohammad...and the soul of truth is Allah"...or something very close to that. It didn't quite fit the poem because he shoe-horned in words with too many syllables, but he did change it to reflect his beliefs.

This is one of the great moments of poetry fraud in history. The fact that he is reciting poem about Truth while telling a big whopper by taking credit for it is irony at its best. This poem was written by the great Indian Sufi mystic and philosopher Hazrat Inayat Khan around 1923, whose teachings Ali admired greatly. I'm impressed he memorized it (mostly correctly). Inayat Khan's teachings were a Universal message of love, harmony and beauty.

His mind or thinking was not confined or limited to simply boxing ring but was and is way beyond that ring reaching each and every individual’s heart came to see the fight cuz he talks even after the fight in shows, universities in different countries and entertained the people, helping, motivating and educating the people. Can you Give me one name who’s reached that level? The answer is nobody since Ali. There’re people who is trying but they set certain limits and don’t go beyond that cuz someone’s gonna get mad up in the elite group, Muhammad Ali has the balls to say “NO” to not only the world’s super power at the time but his own country when he was drafted cuz he was not in favor of war, he said and did what he thought was right!
