honestly it would be cool if there was a secret boss in ttyd that could actually guard and superguard (ooh! what if doo_liss could superguard while disguised as mario?)

And then the dodge behavior was later used for the ninja shy guy in color splash. Looks to work the same way - dodges all normal attacks, but dies to Things
In the 2011 trailer for this game there was apparently meant to be 8 chapters like the older games so these enemies probably would've appeared in those but got scrapped.
It would had been equally funny and frustating that on the same game where you can't do almost nothing you did on TTYD, including Superguard, enemies can.

isn't Kamek Fly just his battle in W1-3 in the final game? In that battle, he flies, he doesn't turn your stickers to flip flops, and he does sometimes shoot the pink ball projectile which puts Mario to sleep for a couple of turns if you fail to block it
I mean, Kamek is still above ground in the other battles, just not enough that you would need to jump at him to hit him. Also, Cat wasn't being mean to Skawo, you are the ones who need to cut him slack. Cat was just being calmly techinical about where Kamek stays.
They should've put the Goomba enemies in the final game in a way that you know what type of Goomba is until he attacks back/dodges you. Like the name says just "Goomba" and when you, for example, try to jump on him and he dodges you, the name changes to "Evasive Goomba". Man that would've been so funny! I surprised that nobody made a Mod or a custom version/game of sticker star, especially with all the unused stuff that is in this game. I would love to at least see a prototype or a proof of concept of a hack of this game
There's really not much to be surprised about when almost nobody wants this game to even physically exist anywhere near them. If anyone were to try and make something else out of it, they would have to make it a _complete_ overhaul that revamps the entire battle system, adds partners, and implements various other features of this caliber for anyone to even consider looking their project's way. Nevermind this being a gargantuan undertaking; you'd be hard pressed to find someone who A. believes this to be even remotely worth the effort, and B. would be willing to be this involved and hands-on with such a near-universally-despised game in the first place.
