- Live from the Brooklyn Bowl in New York City The Mother Hips perform their opening set to their crowd of fans, and now you can listen in too! Hear "Time Sick Son of a Grizzly Bear" "Esmeralda" "Confirmation of Love" and more!
A big thank you to our Relix Studio Partners, Ernie Ball, Robe Lighting, Audio Technica, Meyer Sound and Welch Tuning Systems!
really psyched to see these guys on the coast...let alone @ BBowl!
I challenge anyone to listen to the opener of this, "No Name Darrell", and NOT need to hear more......seriously......these guys are incredible
I spent a week in Chico in early 1993 visiting a buddy that was going to Chico State.
I only remember two things about the entire week. 1. Seeing The Mother Hips over and over everywhere I went. 2. I forgot, but I'm pretty sure it involved a tasty fungus.
See you guys in LA next month!
Long live The Mother Hips.
Awesome! Come play in VT!
I think these guys were heavily influenced my "The Mike Saliani Band"! Your thoughts. Also, the shorter guy is the star of the Band!
The Hips have been around longer than Mike, so I'd say it's the other way around.
I know you're joking! Humor...Do you understand humor?
@@DanielMcGrath1969 Wow, man. What's the snide response? I've never even heard of the other guy. I understand humor really well. Just not your sense of it, I guess..
Mike is just a friend of mine who has idolized the Hips since his school days up in Chico in '93. Sorry that I was snippy! I truly apologize to you man.
My favorite band of ALL TIME!!!
Never heard a lot of these songs live
I've always thought no one over 6 foot 2 should be allowed on stage! As Randy Newman once famously opined...Tall people got no reason...
