- After going to sleep over there in the trees, I have to try to get out of there and get back on my way. The rear tire is bad and worn out, mixed with a slippery, upward sloping terrain makes it a little complicated. Luckily, in the end, someone always comes to the rescue...

As you said, Cameroon is really green. I was really impressed that two people stopped to help you get back up the hill, until they asked for money.

Hola Nico, I happened to stumble upon your video channel and now I'm addicted haha. It was once a dream of mine to do this kind of adventure, maybe I'll do a little bit of your ride someday. Perhaps a tip for the viewer is to show your travel route via a map ? then people will have more of an idea where you are on the country /continent. Have fun traveling and stay safe. Merci boku pour les videos 🎥Saludos desde Belgica .
Hi friend, thanks a lot for your comment, on my website www.ridemefive.com you can see a map where I have been through. Hope you can travel once 👍 take care and see you!
Nico, I have watched all your videos so far. The South African leg will get you many more viewers with expats yearning for home. Keep up the good work. Show us more interaction with the local people. Show us the food you eat...and buy a new tent! 😀

Hey Nico I love your channel and subscribed, your channel is the most under rated but it is the best in content. Love your channel. Lots of guts and courage to camp out in the jungle for sure, I come from a tropical country and will not do it for snakes. Keep going my friend. Cheers from Canada.

I like how the guy immediately asks for money after helping. I mean it's fair enough though, as without him it probably would've taken way longer.
Keep on going your videos are Muy bien. I really enjoy your videos and you did a great job with that.
I am learning Español right now so there is a learning experience as well.
Buen rato para comprender que decias "bon jour". Pense que "bongu" era algo en la idioma local. Me encanta los videos.
Awesome as always!

One question, where do you get your fuel from for your moto? Isnt it quite difficult to find fuel in these countries?
Dude Google is your friend, isn't it?! If you look at the african country in Google Maps, you will find many things like hotels, restaurants, gas stations as well as supermarkets in every town! This way it is not very difficult to find such information!
This is WOW
Amazing!!!

This is my home land. He just passed through my village. Here is a land the was more advanced before the 70s. But because the want us to be dependent on foreign aid, our industries were systematically destroyed thus rendering us handicapped. Southern cameroons was merged with Republic of cameroons. Due to our huge natural resources deposits, our rights were taken away from us and before we knew it, federal republic of cameroons became republic of cameroon. Now, the English speaking country called southern cameroons was erased. Trying to erase our identity just because of our mineral wealth. Ever since 1972, we have been fighting. But it became a full blown war in 2017 till today as we speak.
Millions have fled the land.

Hello broo I am from Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
what you take Drone shot 🎉
8:01 that man
Imagine you flee all this war and difficulties of being shot or robbed just to being stuck in some mud
It's painful watching this guy ride out of some situations.
Ya ever think this bike is too heavy?
peoples were so sweet , they want money lol
They charge you for helping with your bike
Dice it up it always has been. No french language is needed rise up
How literally everyone asks for money
Kind of sad you need to pay to get help, but thats what happens when you're a tourist. Everyone sees you as a walking bank.
You don't show your face
Will people be so kind if a Black Man/African travels and video the Police through Spain or Europe? The answer is NO ! He may lose his live or be deported immediately. Hypocrites!

8:35 So, this is the main dirt road through Cameroon? (Laughing!)
I had some guy from Cameroon make contact with me through WhatsApp. Just a random contact that, for some reason, I accepted (which I usually never do), and after a bunch of back-and-forth conversations and pleasantries, he told me that he's an art dealer selling traditional as well as modern African art that he picks up from all over Western and Northwestern Africa (if he was an art dealer, the pictures that he sent me were impressive and the art was beautiful), then the conversation eventually switched to his two-year-old son having gotten kidnapped and the kidnappers were asking for a lot of money and he wondered if I could "loan" him the money (none of which I actually have myself, since I am an artist who lives from paycheck to paycheck as well), and when I told him that I was not able to send him any money, I didn't hear from him for several days. I think he was testing to see if he switched tactics (which weren't very subtle), he then sent me photos of his "very ill" mother who was "on her death bed" and he asked if I were able to help him with hospital bills. Again, I apologized and told him that I could not help him and that I was sorry that both his son had been kidnapped and that his mother was dying.
I never heard from him after that exchange. Oh well. I guess I wasn't someone he wanted to be friends with, after all.
8:35 So, this is the main dirt road through Cameroon? (Laughing!)
