Most of them need to learn a lot of those terms lmao and to except that sometimes their favs aren't the strongest vocalists they're making them out to be
I mean K-pop stans honestly want to get mad when you tell them their faves aren't vocally all that. Like it's fine? They're not trying to be anyway? The package of a K-pop star isn't trying to be Sohyang to begin with because 1. you're not marketing to the Hallmark channel. 2. You're marketing to young pop listening teens and young adults. 3. You're PERFORMERS who sing, not SINGERS who perform. Plenty of them are more dancers anyway. So like don't take it personally k-pop fans, but also don't get so huge headed. Like if your fave sounds great? cool. But before you diss some other artist to pump up your fave, remember your favorite has like 4 other people to relieve them so they can get away with dodgy breath control and so on. But that said being vocally superior in terms of technique doesn't always mean everything. I mean there were more vocally technical singers than Utada Hikaru, but she is the queen of J-pop for a reason. NO ONE's voice is as warm and nurturing and just cozy and light as hers. Sometimes a SPECIAL voice isn't just high notes and range. SOMETIMES people with high notes and range have nothing special to their voices at all.
I felt the beyonce vocals were definitely live & I felt the rihanna superbowl could've been better. TS has terrible vocals but great songs & good performances.
actually, true lambs really praise the 2015 Jamaica show!! she was really "excited" that day, and her creativity goes through the roof. so many note changes, almost impeccable musicality, and she SANG that day. waiting impatiently for the video about it.
It is amazing what a bit of confidence boost does to her live performance. Makes me sometimes wish she would "go higher than the heavens above" more often 😜
couldn't agree with you more about the jisoo jennie debate. i am so sick of people still saying that jennie is a better vocalist than jisoo when jisoo has proven on multiple occasions during the born pink tour that she really is the superior vocalist. i am in no way saying that jennie is a bad singer, but she is so inconsistent. my girl's highs on the tour have been so high but her lows are so god damn low it just makes me sad.
Jennie better than her stay mad and also Jennie is consistent not jisoo in the beginning of the tour she cracks so much then in the middle of the tour she started to be relaxed on her lower notes then she came worse especially in their last France show
@@chaeinneoneandonly9170 not because Jennie tickled her? No because jisoo is a bad vocalist stay mad! Also she isnt only relaxed on her lows. She supportes them lol

I'm a very big Swiftie and i absolutely agree, Taylor is pretty inconsistent and unpredictable. She has days when i'm like: ''Did Whitney's spirit possessed her that day?'' and she has days when i'm like: ''Girl, WTF was that?'' I absolutely agree with you that with Folklore, Evermore and Midnights she found a style that fits her perfectly and uses more her strengths like her amazing lower register, vocal transitions, and playing with dynamics and emotions. She's a decent belter and sometimes she can really surprise but it never was her biggest strength, so i'm happy now she belts less but focuses more on overall control and stablity. Taylor's going on tour in a month, she's touring for the first time since 2018 and she didn't perform a full set since end of 2019, so i'm very interested how she will sound like. I expect slightly shaky start but more she will perform the better she will sound. I don't know how much you watch of her performances but i can tell that during start of an era and promotional performances she's very unpredictable but when she's on tour she sounds much better and shows much more control and better technique. I remember you said in one video something like: there are 2 types of singers: 1) singers who needs proper rest after performances and 2) singers that needs to perform consistently to be in a good vocal shape. And Taylor is in the 2nd category, she needs to perform consistently or she will become very unpredictable. I really think Taylor should visiting vocal coach again because the potential she has in unbelievable. The problem is that Taylor never had any intentions to become a powerful vocalist, she always wanted to be a storyteller and songwriter and artist in general. She worked on her voice to be able to give a good show and when she achieved this she stopped working, which is such a shame. So i really think she should working with vocal coach again, it's not just her, EVERY SINGLE ARTIST SHOULD HAVE A VOCAL COACH!
I think Little Mix solo music is finally upon us. Leigh-Anne recently released a short video and at the end was SHE IS COMING!. It looks like Leigh-Anne will drop her debut sometimes in next 2 months. Jade and Perrie definitely will release their debuts as well this year, but i expect them to do it much later. I'm expecting music from Jade probably by the end of summer and Perrie sometime in fall.
if you're a vocal snob to think vibrato is the most attractive vocal ornament, i guess I'm also one. and runs, I'm a sucker for runs too. doesn't need to be complex with Mariah level 55 notes in some seconds, just good.
@@hughw2377 I'm a lamb too. Probably that's why I like runs I'm just saying it doesn't need to be hard vocally, just a good run, tasteful, because not everyone has the skills. but a lil run always makes the song better for me personally.
There has to be a time & place & nowadays people just riff to riff & its so annoying. I honestly like Musical Theatre a lot because they are supposed to do whats written on the page of the music they are given & do as little riffing as possible which makes the story more enjoyable & entertaining
Singers dont have to be great vocalist to sing live. Just proper technique & understanding their own vocal range & limitations, and what their strengths are. No need to oversing & overestimating themselves.
As a Beyoncé fan i know how hard can be to explain to other fans that she uses lip-sync. What these fans need to understand is that this doesn't mean she's not a good singer, actually she's a great singer one of the best out there, BUT HIVE BROTHERS AND SISTERS SHE USES LIP-SYNC. Let's be polite.
It's not wrong to say she uses it. But people act like she has never sung live, and been able to dance at the same time, before. Of course she's can't do it all the time, and not even for a whole concert, I doubt. No one can. But she is capable of doing it for a certain amount of time, which isn't something too many other vocalists can also say.
THANK YOU for being honest. Especially about Bey’s performances. She is a 10/10, but no one can move like that and sound like they’re standing still. And the Dubai performance she gave it away by missing her cue and her head movements.
I agree that some voices are just better than others. Was watching Burlesque with Christina Aguilera when this really hit me. Like how on earth does she sound like that
Jisoo always has been a better vocalist than Jennie, Kpop fans need to stop basing their arguments in vocal support cause most of them doesn't even know what is that about or have a mistakenl opinion. Jisoo is a better vocalist due to her registers overall are more developed, she's more consistent and some other things included. I do think Jennie is a better belter, but that itself doesn't make her better than Jisoo.
I think Jennie has a better technique, but Jisoo is more consistent as someone mention here. I think Jisoo singing comes more naturally, while Jennie is more hit or miss.
I think it's the contrary, Jennie is very inconsistent because she has a very bad (or nonexistent) technique. However she has a lot of potential and it's unfortunate that she doesnt know how to use her voice better. She could be as good as Rosé in my opinion if she had proper training and understanding of her voice For Jisoo i don't really know, i think she could work on her tension, she's very tense when belting and she should probably open her mouth more to have better resonnance
I think the opposite, Jennie's voice comes more naturally but she's just not properly trained at all, while Jisoo seems like she focused more on training her voice because it doesn't come naturally to her.
About Little Mix's solos: 1. They said they won't release music at the same time to avoid competition, comparison and (probably to sell better since mixers will focus on one artist at a time) 2. They're perfectionists so probably don't want to rush their creative process (like the ex member did) and release a single with no proper concept for her solo debut album and era. 3. Leigh-Anne confirmed we can expect new music this year in an interview at the Brits. 4. Jade an Perrie will propobly follow Leigh, as she's the one who seems to be releasing music first. I guess it'll be: Leigh, then Jade and Perrie last.
i think perrie will debut before jade. she has been seen in the studio quite often and already has songs registered with ASCAP. i also believe she already has a record label, maybe we'll find out in the next few weeks. :)
@@ma.3363 Leigh Anne was the first to sign a management and recording deal with Warner, and has been working on music for more than a year, Jade signed with RCA and has been recording music too. Perrie is rumored to have signed with Columbia. So we don't really know which one's gonna release first, but everything points out to Leigh since she's been very public about her solo career and said we can expect music this year.
@@dadg98ddg yes! leigh is definitely ready to release her solo. i think jade will be the last one, she seems to be enjoying the moment, not feeling the need to rush things... but i can't wait to see what they have prepared for this new chapter in their career! 🥺
1 - Some people really don't know the difference between "not singing live" and "not singing well". 2 - I love Rihanna discography and she can be a very capable vocalist when she wants to, but the performance was weak 3 - There are voices that I prefer listening to rather than some technically developed ones 4 - I just hope the marketing for the solos are great to create some hype after the break 5/6 - I think musicality is an important part of it, there are vocalists that don't use a lot of vibrato but are still great to listen to 8 - Inconsistency always bugs me 9 - Gugudan's Nayoung and WJSN's Yeonjung also sound like Taeyeon 10 - I don't like none of the songs, but Nxde is slightly better. I still think the aesthetics (outfits and MV) and "Reset" are the best part of the comeback 11 - Like I said before, Jennie bugs me. There are performances that make me believe her technique is more well rounded than Jisoo's, but Jisoo is far more consistent 12 - Vision is nearly perfect, Fairytale is one of their best songs and their intro and outro are top tier as always. I prefer their other special releases, but I enjoy Reason
Ariana's vibrato is so gorgeous!! Also to the first point, it's absolutely true that lip sync is necessary in many situations even though it's good to be able to tell when they are singing live vs when they are lip syncing-many times it's quite obvious actually. Yeah, Beyonce's an AMAZING and underrated vocalist but still she lip syncs sometimes when she wants to perform and dance like crazy-it's very hard to sing and dance. Or sometimes they lip sync to protect their voice on tours and things like that which is also completely fine. As long as they are able to sing live that's all that matters.
unpopular opinion, more artists 2000s/2010s would've seen a Katy Perry-type end to their career if not for Tiktok making it hard to break new artists. (I say that because I think Katy's spot in music was replaceable, no one felt like they were missing anything when she stopped making smash hits. There are more artists in that category that have stayed relevant. Seeing as people are drawn to nostalgic music, official AI posthumous songs may become a thing
As a jensetter I agree jisoo is a better vocalist than Jennie ,like let's not be delusional now,and what buggin me is that Jennie doesn't have enough vocal material that really showcase her skills even though she is the second in line distribution....her legato is nice and I'm waiting for teddy to start giving her more melisma line....oh and you did jisoo wrong there ,find a better clip and reasoning to prove jisoo is better than Jennie cuz those tight belt is not it ....overall love the video ..
I disagree about the Beyoncé Dubai clip. At the start of her singing that iconic part she puts her hand on the mic which muffles her voice for a second, which i don’t think would happen if it was a track playing. Also there was no noticeable volume change or tone change from the clear live vocals just before that part,to the alleged track that played at that part. I feel like it’s more likely live than not
I just commented something similar 😭. Some of her runs leading up to that were not as precise which i don’t think would happen if it was entirely pre-recorded.
I’m the Biggest Beyoncé fan but the drunk in love vocal run she did at the end of that performance was in fact pre-recorded. Now she did sing 95% of the song live and her ad libs while she was walking down the stage was live but as the stage person was hooking her up to the stand that lifted her in the air, there was a Quick adjustment in her demeanor and after she sang the last ad-lib of “we be all night” and the way her head was moving left to right as the water started flying everywhere and she was elevated into air. The quality of the vocals was TOO clean and no waver in pitch was happening the way it would have had she been singing live. When you’ve watched 100s of Beyoncé tour concerts, love award shows, festivals performance, tv performances and even fan recorded shows, he begin to notice Beyoncé’s pattern and strategies of how she sings live and certain songs or parts of songs she chooses to lip sync to.
Not the entire song was pre-rec. Just that part. Also observe when she looked down, her voice did not change at all. She even missed the cue before her pre-rec played on.
I disagree about Beyonce's Drunk In Love performance in Dubai being lipped. In the beginning of the riff, she accidentally covers the mic with her hand, and you can hear the muffled sound. Not to mention, she wasn't doing a lot of choreo like she was in the Deja Vu and Baby Boy performances. Plus, a few of the background dancers said that she did it all live.
@@janmodjadji5572 they could have just not said anything at all. but in fact, the dancer said Bey did live rehearsals and the performance as a whole. also, like I said, you can hear when she covers the mic. 😘
When you think of singers, you have Christina Aguilera who’s voice will always be recognized. The emotive and power of her voice are unmatched. She may not be technically trained but the rawness makes her voice unique and something out of world.
Unmatched power? Lol you’re just another delusional fans like what this video is for. She has unique tone & style, powerful chesty belt, but far from unmatched.
Thank you for the jisoo and jennie one. I keep arguing with people but bc jennie is more popular my opinion is always out numbered. There is just no measure by which jennie is a better vocalist than jisoo
@@grandeflamesbutera3949 we expected her to at least GIVE a DAMN about giving us at least an entertaining show but I guess that was too much to ask…..she lazy
Personally social media made me hype too much about her show, so when i saw it, i was kinda disappointed, she did the best she could being pregnant, but now i feel like no one can say a bad thing or give a honest "negative" opinion about her presentation 'cause everyone will come and make you feel guilty for criticizing a pregnant woman....

Don't rush them it's not smart to rush as we see where that got Jesy👀 they literally just toured less than a year ago let them live life and release when they are ready. Patience hun
i don't really get the jisoo vs jennie debate because they're both so underdeveloped it can be argued either way. i think we can all agree that vocal lessons would do them both some good
The Beyoncé stans are something else 😂 I love her too but she fell to the floor with no movement in her voice and people are really out here saying that it was live?? No ma'am
Yes. Look at superbowl or Coachella when she jump kicks on heels while live and sounds the same. Doctors have done videos about how difficult that is and how amazing she knows how the body works to achieve what she wants to achieve. Being a vocalist is more than vocal cords. Obviously that might be news to you
@@aintnootherfan yes. She studied anatomy and has a deep understanding of how the body works to achieve what she achieves. She literally trains like a professional athlete for this
@@arditd7724 It's not news to anyone darling. No matter how hard someone studies or trains, it is physically and humanly impossible to do those things flawlessly and with absolutely no movement in their voice. No one is denying her skill or credibility, it's simply about being realistic. At the end of the day she's still a regular human like us who is subject to the laws of physics.
Finally someone said it don’t get me wrong I think Jennie and jisoo are both good vocalist but jisoo has always been a bit more stable consistent and just more natural
yes yes yes. about natural talent. it's annoying but it's the truth. individual uniqueness will always make some better than others. this doesn't just stop at voices. but it's everything. that's why you can be the hardest worker, have the most experience and still not get as far as someone else. as upsetting as that can be i think it's so fascinating. that we're all just genetically better in some things. we don't ask to be we just are. it's very interesting. and it's part of why we have celeb cuktire because not just anyone can sound like that, act like that, move like that or look like that. also i will say that i don't think taylor has ever been half as unpredictable and inconsistent as people say. maybe during her first years but she has consistently improved throughout each era. i think she's just human, she's been through things that affect the voice directly. her voice has taken years to mature and bring out this depth in her tone and since singing was never her focus it naturally would take her longer to build her technique. i mean she was only 16 at the start. in a brand new company just doing what she could. she usually sounds just fine. she's just not explosive and her strength lies in calmness. her lower register, her breath control. she's not a belter. but she's comfortable enough in her voice. i would say she's no different to any other decent vocalist.
Unpopular Opinion: As a lamb, I think Mariah made A HUGE Mistake by not hiring a vocal coach knowing the fact that she has nodules. Slowing down on the alcohol also. It saddens me cause she could've been sounding just like celine if not better at 50 years old.
I can't believe that it still has to be said that Jisoo is a better vocalist than Jennie, for real I thought there are no debates about it cause it's obvious 😅
Why specifically target Bey and use THREE instances where she lip synced…and even one from a decade ago like what was ur point there?? What unpopular opinion was it tht needed three clips of her lfmaoao jus being shady for no reason
Because I do often see Beyoncé be praised for singing live and I comment on how a lot of people have problems with telling lipsync and live vocals apart All these 3 clips have been labelled as “live” by many commentators So that’s why; Beyoncé is generally getting nothing but praise on my channel and that’s a fact
Taylors live performances improved when she gained some healthy weight and got in amazing shape. She wasn't so out of breath all the time and learned better control. She's still shakey here and there but a 100% improvement.
Taylor's voice really is inconsistent, but it's gotten much more stable and better since 1989 (maybe,or is it Rep?) era. Not shaky, sometimes still pitchy, can hit high notes with ease now, still killing it with them low notes everytime, and still a queen at belting. For me,the only eras where she performed bad vocally are Debut,Fearless, and Red era. I don't think she still has the same vocal coach, but her voice has gotten a lot better, all she needs to do now is to have confidence (Maybe it's just me but if u pay attention to videos where she performs at a show where there's only a couple of people and those videos where she performs something at a concert, whether it's a surprise song,an acoustic version of it,or something,u can see that she looks more comfortable singing to places with fewer people [Not that she performs badly on her concerts.] (Im not rlly good at English but if u get what im saying, then there's no need to comment about my grammar.😽)
Examples of vids with fewer ppl are the Secret Sessions, her Begin Again performance at that one show, and some of her Speak Now songs on that same show.
Miyeon trained in YG and was originally supposed to be a part of a 9 member lineup (with the Blackpink members) called PinkPunk, which would be YG's SNSD (Girls Generation). It wouldn't surprise me if she was trained in a similar vein while at YG, and later, Cube.
The Dubai concert is live my friend... She does on renaissance tour every show. And it's obvious it's live because it changes every time... I'm really wondering about your credibility and capability of singing. Lost me as a subscriber haha
What I hear is her about to sing the wrong part and then she remembers that she has a pre recorded vocals coming in. Y’all, it’s not that hard to see and hear this. And it’s ok. She’s STILL a great vocalist 😊
Let's not rush little mix it's only been like under a year since their last tour. Leigh Anne seems to be obviously ready to release music. She's been treated well by her team (so far) by being booked and invited to big events in America and the UK. You'll have to be patient with them as this is new to them and you'll have to wait if you're a perrie and jade Stan because they expressed that they won't release anything at the same time to avoid the messy media putting them against each other on the charts etc (although they still will put them against each other no matter what) I think it's lovely of them to wanna support each other and let each other shine on their own, true friendship 💜 I can't wait to see what Leigh Anne releases.
Thank you so much for talking about how Beyoncé uses prerecorded vocals sometimes. I talk about this all the time and get torn to pieces for it. But it’s fine, she puts on a great show she doesn’t have to sing live all the time. But let’s just be real about it. She’s not super human 😭
exactly, beyhive be like her breath support this and that😂. Shes one of the best vocalist and entertainer, doesnt mean her vocals wont be shaky with all those movement.
you’re really pointing out as if Beyoncé cannot sing and isn’t a star vocalist. 😆 you display her as an intro and outro for us to disregard that you’re not shading or underestimating her LIVE vocal prowess. play ‘resentment live’ or ‘dangerously in love live’ or ‘why don’t you love me live in brazil’, and all other b*tches will be falling under. 😊
Or you're just being an idiotic stan and completely misunderstood his point...? He simply stated that she clearly lipsync. Point blank period. Stop your idol worship.
Yes I really needed this 🤍 I do agree that people presume most lipped vocals to be live. Excuses like "You can hear breathing" or "The mic is on", like you said, do not work. Breathing can be pre-recorded to make it sound live. That first Beyoncé performance was very obviously lipsynced... it isn't humanely possible, even for Beyoncé, to sing with that much control while flapping her legs around and doing that much movement and dancing. It was kind of hard to tell with the second Beyoncé performance though. Edit: The second performance (Drunk In Love) is DEFINITELY lipped, now that I think about it. The water was spraying all over the place; the fact that the mic didn't pick up any additional sound whatsoever proves that it was off the whole time.
@@arditd7724 Just because you and a lot of other ignorant people can't accept facts doesn't mean that what I'm saying is "flawed". Unless you want to look more ignorant, I'll leave it at this.

@@ifyouseekme6694 i actually liked that approach better if u ask me,plus it made her voice distinct and easily identifiable. Strange how she's getting older but getting more bright , small and nasal..i love her very much tho
Yeah I liked it a lot as well and I felt like ir set her apart from everyone else. I do think because she was so chesty in her approach early on she really struggled with her higher registers. Now she has more ease in her upper register and it doesn't take as much out of her especially since she's getting older and probably trying to preserve her voice. I like that she dips into that approach occasionally though. It was nice to hear in Nights Into Days and it's good to know she can still go there if she wants/needs to. Hopefully we'll hear more of it.
@@melaniaarce8226 And you know what? It's not just vocalists, but also rappers. Rihanna has stage presence, idk what you talking about, I to be fair the reviews are more from Pop fans who normally like an artist who doesn't dance or doesn't have stage presence. The GP loved, they are still trying to learn choreography. The halftime show was CLEAN visually, goes with her being pregnant, choreography on point, the setlist were great, the production was GREAT, the stages are revolutionary, it will probably make room for new stages like this on the field. And people who comment on Rihanna or her concerts have never seen any of her concerts. The Rock In Rio one had BARELY any dance, or stage production, nor big screen, and it's one of the best shows EVER.
My 'brutally honest opinion' Most of commenters are not musicians/singers or people that really know a thing about music and voice. They just like to talk about this stuff. They remind me very much of those foodies that use the word mouthfeel and texture everyday, but couldn't make a decent plate of pasta to save their life 😂 In short: they just have bad ears, so they think their faves sing live all the time
I’ve lost faith in Beyoncé’s live performance as a whole the day I saw her in Montreal, her hair got caught in a fan and she « continued singing » Halo like nothing was happening while staff people were pulling and pushing her around to get her free from the damn fan. She hit the note.
Lets be bonest even when shes not lipsyncong, Beyonce is just weird vocally and has to perform because if she didn't, her hits wouldn't suffice as her discograpghy is BORING.
First of all I'm a big Swiftie! Fearless Tour was 2009 - 2010 - there was definitely a lot improvement from previous years (2006 - 2008), she had few lucky supported A4s and Bb4s, but still pretty inconsistent. We should be thankful that she didn't has any vocally challenging songs in her catalog at the time because she simply wouldn't be able to handle it, but it was a really good start for her vocal journey. I was just going down RUclips watching random videos of Fearless Tour one day because i was bored and that was the first time i heard a vibrato from Taylor, again it was only very few lucky moments, but still that vibrato sounded great, she should use it more. Vibrato is very rare from Taylor so i was pleasently surprised.
Lol when I heard the first point I immediately thought about the beyonce video...like she would have to be superhuman to sing that while rolling around and still sounding so good. Also rihanna always had a very lazy dance style. Just like in the SuperBowl performance. If people want to see spectacular dancing they'll have to look at her backup dancers otherwise just just know what to expect with her.
My brutally honest opinion: KPop Stan’s need to learn what a whistle note is because they’re throwing that term around way too freely
YES
Most of them need to learn a lot of those terms lmao and to except that sometimes their favs aren't the strongest vocalists they're making them out to be
Most of them can't tell the difference between Head Voice, Falsetto and Whistle Register and it's just so annoying lol
Agree
I mean K-pop stans honestly want to get mad when you tell them their faves aren't vocally all that. Like it's fine? They're not trying to be anyway? The package of a K-pop star isn't trying to be Sohyang to begin with because
1. you're not marketing to the Hallmark channel.
When I first heard Miyeon's Drive I instantly imagined Taeyeon singing that song and in that way.
Neither of my parents can sing, but ariana is mother so I really learn a lot
My ears spotted a Purple Kiss outro and I hope there is more to come on that!

couldn't agree with you more about the jisoo jennie debate. i am so sick of people still saying that jennie is a better vocalist than jisoo when jisoo has proven on multiple occasions during the born pink tour that she really is the superior vocalist. i am in no way saying that jennie is a bad singer, but she is so inconsistent. my girl's highs on the tour have been so high but her lows are so god damn low it just makes me sad.
jisoo still can’t support which is the confusing part. otherwise i’d agree she’s better
Jennie better than her stay mad and also Jennie is consistent not jisoo in the beginning of the tour she cracks so much then in the middle of the tour she started to be relaxed on her lower notes then she came worse especially in their last France show

I'm a very big Swiftie and i absolutely agree, Taylor is pretty inconsistent and unpredictable. She has days when i'm like: ''Did Whitney's spirit possessed her that day?'' and she has days when i'm like: ''Girl, WTF was that?''
I absolutely agree with you that with Folklore, Evermore and Midnights she found a style that fits her perfectly and uses more her strengths like her amazing lower register, vocal transitions, and playing with dynamics and emotions.
Did you really compare Whitney Houston with Taylor Swift in a "good" day?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like Taylor too, but Whitney who??
i’ve rarely seen a moment where whitney « possessed » her, actually never but slay

Jisoo and Jennie both are underdeveloped so thats not a big gap to ppl worry abt who is better.

She hasn't posted anytime that said: She is coming!. That was probably a fan video and not something official from her
THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING LITTLE MIX ESPECIALLY JADE 🤧
if you're a vocal snob to think vibrato is the most attractive vocal ornament, i guess I'm also one.
and runs, I'm a sucker for runs too. doesn't need to be complex with Mariah level 55 notes in some seconds, just good.
The difference is Mariah can do 55 notes and make it sound beautiful and tasteful, most other singers try to do it and doesn't do them any justice.
@@hughw2377 I'm a lamb too. Probably that's why I like runs
I'm just saying it doesn't need to be hard vocally, just a good run, tasteful, because not everyone has the skills. but a lil run always makes the song better for me personally.

Beyoncé doesn’t lip sync every single time tho.
I agree that some voices are just better than others. Was watching Burlesque with Christina Aguilera when this really hit me. Like how on earth does she sound like that

She is a vocal savage
She could be as good as Rosé in my opinion if she had proper training and understanding of her voice
For Jisoo i don't really know, i think she could work on her tension, she's very tense when belting and she should probably open her mouth more to have better resonnance
I think the opposite, Jennie's voice comes more naturally but she's just not properly trained at all, while Jisoo seems like she focused more on training her voice because it doesn't come naturally to her.
About Little Mix's solos:
1. They said they won't release music at the same time to avoid competition, comparison and (probably to sell better since mixers will focus on one artist at a time)

We'll be waiting for awhile Hun 😅 she won't release anything until Leigh Anne has her moment . I can't wait to see them shine.
Yess, I can’t wait. Really hope she releases something soon
1 - Some people really don't know the difference between "not singing live" and "not singing well".
2 - I love Rihanna discography and she can be a very capable vocalist when she wants to, but the performance was weak
3 - There are voices that I prefer listening to rather than some technically developed ones
4 - I just hope the marketing for the solos are great to create some hype after the break
5/6 - I think musicality is an important part of it, there are vocalists that don't use a lot of vibrato but are still great to listen to
8 - Inconsistency always bugs me
9 - Gugudan's Nayoung and WJSN's Yeonjung also sound like Taeyeon
10 - I don't like none of the songs, but Nxde is slightly better. I still think the aesthetics (outfits and MV) and "Reset" are the best part of the comeback
11 - Like I said before, Jennie bugs me. There are performances that make me believe her technique is more well rounded than Jisoo's, but Jisoo is far more consistent
12 - Vision is nearly perfect, Fairytale is one of their best songs and their intro and outro are top tier as always.
@@AM-dd6dx The whole performance wasn't lip-synced. That particular part was.
The dramatic head movements with no discernible alteration in sound and being slightly late/almost missing her cue, gave it away.
Why would her dancers say it wasn't live? Lol she lipped that note.
@@janmodjadji5572 they could have just not said anything at all. but in fact, the dancer said Bey did live rehearsals and the performance as a whole. also, like I said, you can hear when she covers the mic. 😘

Right you can tell it’s live. There’s no reason to lip sync such easy notes for Beyoncè.

Yes. Look at superbowl or Coachella when she jump kicks on heels while live and sounds the same.
It is a fact that jisoo is the second best vocalist in bp after rosè jennie got her position as a lead vocalist only years after her debut
Because I do often see Beyoncé be praised for singing live and I comment on how a lot of people have problems with telling lipsync and live vocals apart
All these 3 clips have been labelled as “live” by many commentators

Taylor's voice really is inconsistent, but it's gotten much more stable and better since 1989 (maybe,or is it Rep?) era. Not shaky, sometimes still pitchy, can hit high notes with ease now, still killing it with them low notes everytime, and still a queen at belting. For me,the only eras where she performed bad vocally are Debut,Fearless, and Red era. I don't think she still has the same vocal coach, but her voice has gotten a lot better, all she needs to do now is to have confidence (Maybe it's just me but if u pay attention to videos where she performs at a show where there's only a couple of people and those videos where she performs something at a concert, whether it's a surprise song,an acoustic version of it,or something,u can see that she looks more comfortable singing to places with fewer people [Not that she performs badly on her concerts.]

I do agree that people presume most lipped vocals to be live.
Now this entire line of argumentation is flawed. Dead on arrival. Shame

Like dude, even K-pop idol rappers are far better than western mumbling rappers, although of course they still need to be a contender against likes Eminem, Nas, Kanye West, Missy Elliot, Tupac, Ice Cube, J.Cole or Kendrick Lamar. K rappers are good too. They should not be underestimated. Maybe there's should be a mixed vocal ranking between western and K-Pop artists.
FINALLY. someone who agrees that jisoo's vocals are better, IM HONESTLY SO TIRED OF JENSTTERS CLAIMING THAT JENNIES VOCALS ARE WAY BETTER AND JISOO IS "just a visual"
HER VOCALS ARE NO JOKE NITHER ARE HER VISUALS
This channel lost my respect haha bye
😭😭😭 leave me alone Beyonce's singing will always be live to me . Call me delusional but I'm choosing to believe a lie 🤥🤡
Even the lip-synced national anthem that she had a conference about?
@@GarageStudio7 😂 yes , even if she did say it out of her own mouth . Ignorance is bliss .
@@GarageStudio7 😂😂
@@nickardomccrae1519 at least you’re self-aware!
She got some lip syncs when she was young and they're trash. She's way more nervous when she lip syncs than when she's not
Jisoo vs. Jennie debate is so funny. Cause both of them are not even vocalists. 😂
What do you mean they aren't vocalists?? Are you saying they aren't good vocalists or that they do not hold a vocalist position in the group, which they do, they are both lead vocalists
yeah, even if one of them is better than the other they are still extremely close and both underdeveloped as vocalists
@@nyerhovwoakpome2151 I don't mean positions lol. I mean they are both underdeveloped/non vocalists as in they don't support. But Jennie has shown some kind of shallow support on some notes in the mid range I guess but Jisoo has never. I think that's why people say Jennie better but it doesn't matter much.
@@averyatwell95 Oh, I get what you're saying, they are both vocally underdeveloped but I have noticed that Jisoo is more consistent than Jennie especially recently in their tour, it's still hard to listen to them both tho, like I want to run to them to stop them from ruining their throats even more
@@nyerhovwoakpome2151 yeah you get it.
My honest burtal opinion is get to the point faster.
This Jennie vs Jisoo discourse is crazy considering they’re both terrible singers
Rude much
Rihanna has stage presence, idk what you talking about, I to be fair the reviews are more from Pop fans who normally like an artist who doesn't dance or doesn't have stage presence.
My 'brutally honest opinion'
Most of commenters are not musicians/singers or people that really know a thing about music and voice.
They just like to talk about this stuff.
They remind me very much of those foodies that use the word mouthfeel and texture everyday, but couldn't make a decent plate of pasta to save their life 😂
In short: they just have bad ears, so they think their faves sing live all the time
I actually really love Demi's voice. For me, their voice is so unique, powerful and full out feelings
Her*. Demi is feeling her again lol. You need to be updated with her pronouns.
Beyoncé is the queen of prerecorded and lip syncing vocals.
I’ve lost faith in Beyoncé’s live performance as a whole the day I saw her in Montreal, her hair got caught in a fan and she « continued singing » Halo like nothing was happening while staff people were pulling and pushing her around to get her free from the damn fan. She hit the note.
Aespa are touring currently and i've seen some videos of them singing live.. I guess... Check them out
Lets be bonest even when shes not lipsyncong, Beyonce is just weird vocally and has to perform because if she didn't, her hits wouldn't suffice as her discograpghy is BORING.
my honest opinion: beyoncé is terrible at lip syncing lol that deja vu performance was so clearly not live i’m so glad someone finally said it
What is your opinion on Taylor Swift's vocals during the Fearless Tour?
5:55 finally somebody talks about this. 🙌

I KNEW DEMI would be on this list!!!
Demi EVERYTHING else is so good! Just fix that!!!
i think demi is improving from what im aware of tho so thats good
How do you always come up with the most interesting videos
☺️🥹😇
I think miyeon sounds more like Jessica than Taeyeon
Oh wow you're right. I do hear Jessica.
True. But Jessica sounds like Taeyeon so Miyeon sounds like both.
Wow! Thanks! I totally agree with you about Morissette's voice. More of Mori please! The Phoenix keeps on soaring...
Drunk in Dubai is live
Can't wait for a video about Mariah's concert in Jamaica
Can you do Siyeon vs Yoohyeon vocal battle or something?
Lol when I heard the first point I immediately thought about the beyonce video...like she would have to be superhuman to sing that while rolling around and still sounding so good.
Also rihanna always had a very lazy dance style. Just like in the SuperBowl performance. If people want to see spectacular dancing they'll have to look at her backup dancers otherwise just just know what to expect with her.
Beyonce is an athlete's as well as a vocalist. She jumps kicks on heels while singing live
She makes it look easy so ppl don't even acknowledge it
