I don't see how 8:56 is a stroke but 10:08 is a let / no let on review.

      @@Strik3Fr33dom2 Which distance?
In the first instance, freeze the screen at various iterations of 8:53. You will notice that the ball is travelling straight on a line middle box and Wattanabe's foot is outside the box. She will have to reach over to strike the ball and regardless of where you believe that ball contact might occur (directly across, directly across and slightly forward, directly across and slightly behind), Alves already has provided 100% of the front wall as far as where the BALL could go, and that's even if you believe it is Wattanabe's intent/right to play the most extreme cross-court angle possible. So unless you believe it to be swing interference and the "distance" you refer to is person-person I don't see the stroke. To me it might be one of those......"when a stroke is actually a no let"....which is exactly how they interpreted the second instance.

Is this the best we get for a free game? What meh quality. Lose balls, wild hacky crosscourts, high drops, no clearing, endless strokes…is this just a DEI upload lol

The worst referring I’ve seen for a very long time.

Too many wrong decisions with strokes. 😢
