I've been living and working in London for years, so much to know about things I've walked past hundreds of times. Very well made videos!

😊 To all who aren't aware of a hill station town named Ooty. There is one Charing Cross in the town of Ooty, Tamil Nadu, India. Ooty earlier known as Ootacamund (English name) was the British Summer capital of the then Madras Presidency ( sobriquet "Queen of the Hills"). And the spot is named so, almost similar to the junction shown in London at 2:43 . However there is no railway line at Charing Cross in Ooty. But it is a superb landmark with a fountain named Adams fountain, a school Breeks Memorial (est ~1874) after the 1st collector and many shops . The roads divide to many important locales.
    Thanks... 🇮🇳

Wasn’t Charing + a waypoint on a pilgrimage route to Canterbury, which goes via Charing on the Pilgrims’ Way? And, BTW, the great irony of the statue of Charles I is that it is oriented so that he is looking down Whitehall - directly at the point where he was executed outside the Banqueting Hall.

I'd love to see an exploring canary wharf video, but it would probably be better when the Crossrail/ Elizabeth line station is fully open ( also I'd personally like to see more of Canada water because it has my home's name in it)

AT last I know why the Hungerford Bridge is called that. The Hungerford family owned all the land adjacent to it.

Charing cross' concourse is much bigger than Marylebone's, bear in mind they both have the same amount of platforms!

Plus charing cross looks like paddington station, but the concourse had blocked the view of the trains
