Seeing Mississippi go violently democrat all this time but then LBJ did the civil rights act and they immediately all jumped ship to Goldwater is quite the character development
I mean, it was a no brainer. It wasn’t just the civil rights act. The voting rights act was slated to subjugate the voting laws and gerrymandering of some southern states to the federal government, and Goldwater stood in opposition. You can see that very politically similar southern states like Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee voted Democrat still because they weren’t on the chopping block.

Goldwater had um a great social security policy

When there isn't a clear song for the winning candidate he is using the national anthem as a placeholder
@bigshaqexegaming5748 I wanted hard times and it's about hope for bush and clinton🥲
Could you make a video for other countries like Canada and Australia?
Surprised to see that 3rd party candidates won Mississippi multiple times.
A lot of the third party candidates support white supremacy, segregation, state’s rights, etc
Racism is a helluva thing
Those candidates were Segregationists
@rndlkb10 well that's awful
Thank goodness that the republican and democratic party stayed
