I listed my first items on Etsy just over 2 weeks ago and i got my first sale 4 days ago with only 5 listing so far. This was a huge motivator for me because I honestly wasn't expecting any sales until i have a 100 listings or so!
That’s amazing! Congrats! Yes lots of people will tell you that you need a ton of listing to start to see sales on Etsy, I don’t agree. It just depends (on market demand, level of competition, your skill, etc). I’d be interested to know about your skill level creating products and if your product is in a competitive niche or less competitive with lots of demand.
This will be a fun journey to watch. I love the authenticity. also, your tip about making one product with different designs makes so much sense. It's less stressful when you're focusing on one product.
Hey Alissa, thank you for starting this series! This will be helpful for new sellers on Etsy. Could you also do video discussing pricing strategy & analyzing the data you get back? Thank you! 🙂
Yay! Thanks for following along :) Yes! I can share what I analyze and how I make decisions off data. So important and great idea! For pricing I have this resource, instagram.com/p/CkyRdC_OmCk/ but I can also share an example in a future video that might help make more sense of it.
Thank you! I took a break to focus on my mental health. Lots of things come up when you leave your comfort zone (which I did in a big way by starting and growing this business). I'm glad I'm back :)
It'll be interesting to follow your journey with the new shop! So what kind of numbers would you like to see for Etsy competition on Erank when choosing a niche?
New subbie!! I am about to launch in March my luxury candle business! I am wearing ALL the hats girl lol so it's a lot. And the marketing is a whole other world. I am a hands on person, i can make the quality product but Marketing is stressful lol Glad i found this, still researching about it
Congrats on deciding to open your business! Sounds like you’re a go-getter which is probably the most important trait of being a business owner anyway! :) keep me posted on your progress!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Marketing is so hard though! lol I am a hands on person, creative with my brand that looks incredible already but the audience is pretty weak. I feel like i might need to reach out and outsource the marketing part of it @@AlissaRose
It's been more than a year of constantly listing digital products and still hardly any sales. I have more than 50 listings and still get sales maybe twice to thrice in a week (not every week). 😢😢 I feel like giving up even after investing so much into ads and marketing and fees 😢
I posted a video about 2 weeks ago about the top reasons why products don’t sell. Maybe you wanna give that a look and see if you can see if you have any of those 5 issues I talk about.
That is so AWESOME!! I just started a new shop too. I am also making videos on my journey too. I would love to work together if you're receptive to that.
I am so stuck with my shop, that I think I will end up closing it. It's sad because I have worked so hard but I guess not everyone deserves a piece of the pie. 🥹 Anyways, I hope to get some ideas with your videos and maybe find out what's wrong with my shop. 🙏

How exciting! I'm only at $1700 per month and I'm 9 months into my Etsy journey. Getting there! 😊🙏🏻

I opened my Etsy store a month ago. I have 300 items, no sales, just constant messages about how my shop is blocked, I'm starting to believe it.
What's the name of your shop?

How are things going? I had fun watching your videos.
Thanks for sharing these tips. My shop is going kinda slow but I am grateful to get sales.
If you can make $1 online, you can make $1,000 and beyond. Keep going!
@@AlissaRose thank you very much.
Thank you for sharing this :) I’m excited to see how you progress!
I just opened a new Etsy shop in November (2nd shop).
Thank you! And congrats on opening your new shop. How’s that going?
Beautiful Alissa another fantastic and helpful video. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Alissa.
Thank you David! Glad I could help :)
3 weeks, 60 products zero sales, zero traffic from search

On both my website AND Etsy! So i am learning the back ends of both platforms @@AlissaRose

Your video says $27 but the link to Passive Product Payday is $47. How do you get it for $27?
