My kia sonet 2024 supports wireless Android auto and wireless car play. Can i use this device for RUclips and other apps? Or only compatible with wired car play?
You don't show how/where you install your usb flash drive around the 8:00 minute mark. My otto case occupies the USB port. Where are you placing the flash drive?
You have to go into your CarPlay devices on the phone and select this one - in my phone it's 'AI Box' - and enable it or else the AI box doesn't connect to CarPlay even if you have the Bluetooth enabled. Then it connects in a flash.
have been unable to connect my iphone to the device in order to see the car play. I followed your steps but it keeps on the screen to set up the bluettooth. I tried with an android phone and it worked, but with the iphone it does not .
Does your resolution of Apple Car play and Android Auto go lower through using the Ottocast? Mine is alot more clear through wired connection. When using this through the Ottocast it seems blurry

Schaz, I set up my iPhone 15 Pro Max as a Hot Spot and connect the Ottocast Play2Video Pro to my iPhones Hot Spot and all is good but when I hit the Car Play button the Ottocast it does take me to Car Play but I do not see a way to exit Car Play and go back to the Android landing screen, any ideas please?

You need to connect the type C port on your Ottacast to connect with the car and then use the USB flashdrive to play content

You will find an exit icon or an icon with your car logo, that will bring you back
Go to the last screen of icons in CarPlay and there's a home icon, brings you back out of CarPlay.
