A lot of their content is performance and production of the video. Live streaming would likely be a bit more boring and change people's perception of the shop.
man, that last minute of footage (21:19 onwards) was hella aesthetic. the sunset, dark parking lot, sound of shoes on concrete and the light coming from the shop... great job on the video guys
I have a honda, so not exactly miata. But I put a stage 3 clutch in and it drove for the 500 mile break in period (around 2 weeks under 4000/5000rpm). But being I don't have a shop and significant tools, I was try not to take my entire daily apart, as I have to get to work, I did part chase and put in a new CMC and SLAVE and some other unimportant stuff. The new CMC and slave is the important part here, as I didn't adjust it at all. It just says to adjust the CMC at 10,000 miles of usage. But literally THE DAY I hit 500 miles, I ended up with gear lock out on the way home. I'm curious if I have to do some dumb shit, like you did to that miata.
unironically a great teacher "how are we gonna bleed it?" "Nvm get to work" made them think of the issue before they even knew, whether knowingly or not.
I think im a few wweks late to seeing this... installed a paddle clutch on my car, after installing a new clutch cable it shakes once i push the clutch, or my rpm go up by 200 as if it doesnt fully disingage.
That's why I won't touch exedy clutch. Act clutches are amazing and I would trust more. I had a 3000gt vr4 and tried to put an exedy in and it didn't fit right and they blamed the aluminum fly wheel when I called them. They said it doesn't work with a light fly wheel but there instruction didn't say that or there fitment guide so I sent it back and got a a.c.t clutch and got a stage 2 for cheaper and ran beautiful with the alum flywheel. Sold that car and bought a 65 Ford f100 be 390 with the same style of clutch.
Yeah but why did they design that clutch like that? There are so many ways to make that clutch "feel" stock. The way that company did it, is just dumb.
Dude in the Sox hat just talks trash EVERYTIME we see him…. Less screen time for dude hahah everyone else are the best LOL dude thinks he’s Xzibit from Pimp my Ride LOL
Should just live stream out the shop every day. It would be pure content.
Got my vote
Same

Saw them live streaming on TikTok the other day

The mark of a real man is realizing and learning from a mistake. You are a real one!
The MW2 hit marker everytime.homie bonked his head was so hilarious! Kudos to the editor 😂😂😂
19:29 😂 pop ups make so many people smile 😊 they need to come back!!!
YES! Thats why my next car will be Celica All-Trac Turbo ST185
I wish, but sadly they're banned by law in Europe for newly manufactured vehicles. Something because of pedestrian's safety
mechanics man, hardworking people ! unsung hero's
Appreciate you guys sharing this with us. Sometimes being humble and honest… is a good thing. Actually, it’s ALWAYS a good thing.
"What'd you do?" "Read instructions" 🤣
Probably flyin Miata clutch
Edit:They figured it out!
Yea I was saying the exact same thing and wondering when they were gonna figure it out 😂 been there done that for customers.
I love that the instructions address master techs who would otherwise assume they know what they're doing. On a side note, that's a clean ass Miata.
i wish you guys had more videos to binge watch, keep making longer ones too
Took my G35 to the shop a couple weeks ago and i gotta say i love this place!!!
Using the switch to push the pedal down, then adjusting the rod is crazy... FlyingMiata, what are you doing lol
Adjusting the clutch switch just gives the pedal full travel. Then at full travel you get rid of the freeplay on the master pushrod
love the longer videos!
miiiinoyyyminoyyyy followed with a “hold your shaft”. you guys truly have a great bond, and the work environment seems great
You know, not really a big car guy but you guys always find a way to make them interesting. Love the videos!
Funny how my clutch master cylinder gave out Friday and just fixed it Sunday and come relax and watch this gem!!! 😂😂😂
Love seeing y’all share the knowledge you learned the hard way. 😊❤
My uncle has a 1991 Miata with 11k original miles lol just sits in storage. Only drives if if sunny and above 70 degrees
I had that issue with a nb2, replaced the throw out bearing with oem, slave oem, and master oem with a steel clutch nice, and that helped.
Time to frame those instructions lol
That theme song is the best garage song when work on your shitbox❤
That lake elsinore storm hat goes crazy, bringing back so many good memories

saw your customer with the GR86, thought i should look into it, I will be buying one in the near future. thank you.
unironically a great teacher "how are we gonna bleed it?" "Nvm get to work" made them think of the issue before they even knew, whether knowingly or not.

I think im a few wweks late to seeing this... installed a paddle clutch on my car, after installing a new clutch cable it shakes once i push the clutch, or my rpm go up by 200 as if it doesnt fully disingage.
Bro better get out from under the car, with all those head boops he's definitely clocking out early 😂😂
Ah, yup, flyin Miata clutch things
Should take that pring off the pivot or a very light one on it to keep the piston from sticking

@ConceptIIIPerformance if i shipped my miata from Florida would yall build my motor?
I just highly enjoy the pokemon music in the background
El que graba si ayuda 🙏
The chassis rail guards are nice stainless but they left the plastic protector on them 😅
The more these kids ask how these 90’s cars work, the older I feel. 🙃
Hey, this isn't the first time you guys just leave a car window open outside.😂
Wd40 no no no. Kroil my man The oil that kreeps
Is it available in the People's Republic though?
Why the hell is there still protective on the floor pan braces? Lol
Probably has butterfly braces underneath to make the chassis more stiff and not flex as much.
@@thatclappedmiata1091 no.. I'm asking why the protective film is still on them lmao
RTFM make the pain go away.
Get in contact with motor-trend!! This show is legit, even tho it’s not a show!!
Yeah but why did they design that clutch like that? There are so many ways to make that clutch "feel" stock. The way that company did it, is just dumb.
Who cares about that Miata,I'm checking out that mint white car in front there😍
I love how much shit that guy talks lol. Causing problems when he doesn’t know anything.

Lead mechanic sucks lol
I hate stupid designs like that
Can we change the censorship away from the quack? If you wanna go that far you tube legit just cut the cussing out of the video if not just let it fly
This dude talks to much trys to be “ funny” but honestly just makes it more annoying and awkward..
Wah wah wah
