20th Century pear is best served cold. To me its the best of the best. It has subtle flavour or shall I say least flavourful of the Asian pears but instead the juiciest. You taste the fructose but taste vanishes so quickly you want to eat more. Beware: Zestful and addictive nature of the Nijisseki pears. Enjoy my friends. Taste of Heaven here on earth.

20th century vs Korean? Which one tastes better?

It can depend on your climate. Here in Seattle, WA we just don't enough heat units to cause the Korean Giant to reach its full flavor potential. In warmer climates I imagine it will taste a lot sweeter than it does when grown here. Still not a bad asian pear but definitely not as flavorful as 20th century.
