  • In this second video of the new and improved channel, we will look at a true game-changer for the express ocean liner and, indeed, a further evolution in travel on the seas for future cruise ships to come. SS Île de France of the French Line was just that. The majority of the build itself is of how see looked in the late 1930s but there are a few small features around it that showcase different parts of her life.

    Cant wait, i love the ile de frances look on the outside. It reminds me of the modern yet traditional style of britannic and Georgic

    I have to say that French liners are often overlooked - maybe except for the Normandie. They were among the most beautiful and opulent liners of all time and must be remembered.
