I had no problem stopping in for a thumbs-up before the video ran; Stu and his boys never disappoint. Neither does the scenery. Wherever you are, that is some outstanding territory.
Ahhh yes! I can see you now. On top of those hills doing your best impression of Julia Andrew's spinning around singing The hills are alive with the sound of "wee weee " Boom! Boom boom!!! Love ya work. Cheers from Penrith!🇦🇺🐖🐖🐖🇦🇺
Very nice video Stu. Thank you for sharing and taking us with you out there mate... we've been stuck in Vic since Feb. It's nice to see some nature through the looking glass. Well done mate.. keep them coming.
Great shot on the run Stu, 250 m out and dropped like a bag of the proverbial, well done to compose yourself after the missed shots, that is a great sign of a quality hunter.
Thanks mate the first shot actually knocked the pig off it's feet. Chest shot but it soon recovered. I think I missed the second shot but yes took an extra 1/2 second to do a rear brain shot. Had to still aim in front of the pig about 1/2 a metre though as he was motoring.
I love what you do with that old Ruger 3006 + Tasco. Who needs the latest chambering in a shiny stainless synthetic with tactical scope? I’d like to see your camera head mount because it has some handy shock absorption qualities.
Nice hunt!! Pity it’s hilly hehe my legs would be burning doing all that hiking there. Nice country it’s good to see it green for a change hope it’s a better trend for awhile over there
Lots of feed but no pigs only saw three roos, when the drought broke the local farmers found dead roos laying under trees probably chasing green pick after rain.
Great shooting Stu. A bit different country to the flatlands you have been at in earlier videos. A lot of walking. just goes to show the bloody grunters are everywhere. Good job well done . Thanks for the footage. Take it easy and enjoy a coldie I reckon you have earns it.
Years ago I got to know some mates while shooting trap at the Grand American , well they invited me to come on down to Australia and do some hunting with them. I really felt a kinship with those new mates ,,friends,, . But life never blessed me to go , wish I could have tho. Good hunting guys.
@@HuntingwithStu I just bought a New Old Stock Ruger M77 Hawkeye in 30-06 I found for $500 partially because of you to be honest. Any recommendations on gear for it like loops or slings?
@@HuntingwithStu Too hot eh? I usually put in ear plugs and a pair of headphones on for the range, but I recently got a pair of Howard Leight headphones that are electronic. The let me hear the quiet sounds and turn off when they hear loud sounds like gunshots. They work pretty awesomely. They were like 25 dollars too.
just a a little less exciting than your normal videos but still stayed til the end so i could watch you make some excellent shots and enjoyed the scenery too good job
Thanks mate I keep my channel feral pigs mainly. However, over the years I have hunted and shot many deer (Rusa,Fallow,Sambar,Hog, Red etc). Check out my insta page: huntingwith_stu

Livin the dream.
Great to see extended video Stu
Gives a good insight into the effort to shoot the bores causing damage to the environment
Thanks Wayne, yes some pigs take a lot of work to get a shot on em.
I love what you do with that old Ruger 3006 + Tasco. Who needs the latest chambering in a shiny stainless synthetic with tactical scope? I’d like to see your camera head mount because it has some handy shock absorption qualities.
Thanks mate it is a Burris Fullfield II scope though. I use a sony action cam on a headband mate. It seems to work ok.
Nice to see some different terrain
Yes it was good to hunt somewhere different.
I really had no idea Australia had such beautiful scenery and so green at that
It is a beautiful spot mate.
Stu is like, OK there's one, BOOM got it...OK hold on as it will take a while to walk 2000 yards to get to it LOL
LOL correct mate.
Another bloody ripper Stu. Thanks cobber.🤠
Pleased you liked it mate
Nothing better than a cool refreshing treat after a successful hunt! Those .30-06 150 gr soft points hit hard don't they?
Yes mate they do hit hard.
Hello my new friend Great video Good sharing
Bit more work than riding the quad around the open paddock
Yes mate but very enjoyable.
Yeah Stu's not used to walking anywhere lol
Can't wait 😁
Hard to kill property, bet you that’s the hardest you’ve had to work for a pig Stu! 😂 good work mate.
Yes mate it is but also great hunting as you an often see the pigs miles away and ya just have to close the gap.
Another great video mate. Made my day, as stuck in Vic lock down 👍🍺

Well done, Stu! Bit of a change from open plains, but the view is magnificent.
Thanks mate
Hey Stu ... you're huffing and puffing in those hills. You've sure been spoiled at your other location!
Correct mate I need to get into shape hey
Keep up the good work. I don't know if I've ever seen you work so hard for one pig! lol
Thanks 👍 I will walk a field of funnel webs in a pair of rubber thongs just to get in range of a good pig mate, ha.
It would be hard, on a hot day roaming around those hills, picked the right time to go.
Nice hunt!! Pity it’s hilly hehe my legs would be burning doing all that hiking there. Nice country it’s good to see it green for a change hope it’s a better trend for awhile over there
Thanks mate yes the legs got a well deserved workout.

Well done Stu at least your getting onto a few, went out western N.S.W last weekend on 70,000 acres saw no pigs but stacks of goats
Yes mate was there a lot of grass out west?
Lots of feed but no pigs only saw three roos, when the drought broke the local farmers found dead roos laying under trees probably chasing green pick after rain.
Well done mate! On that 3rd shot it looks like a cat taking off amongst the boulders on the ridge in the rocks.
Yes nimble for a heart shot pig considering I flattened it on the first shot but it got up and took off.
Hunting with Stu not the pig it self I mean something took off in the back ground
Great shooting Stu. A bit different country to the flatlands you have been at in earlier videos. A lot of walking. just goes to show the bloody grunters are everywhere. Good job well done . Thanks for the footage. Take it easy and enjoy a coldie I reckon you have earns it.
