I started watercolor about 2 months ago and RUclips has been really helpful in terms of tips or tutorials. So I'm always glad to see new watercolor videos!
I love using hot press bockingford paper. I love using. I bought my first pad this month. It's great for watercolor pencils. I wish I knew about it before.
Looking forward to more of your watercolor tutorial series. I've been following your channel for months and you've inspired me to doing more painting the year to come. Thank you! ❤️ 😀
If you want to try them out, White Nights (also shown in the video) has great sets, they are professional and very pigmented, but not expensive. So it's a good starting point. Some student grade watercolors can be a little frustrating because of the small color pay off. But there are so many great sets out there, it surely also depends on where you live and what is best accessible to you. Have fun exploring the new medium!
In the interest of a better eco print on mother earth I recently bought a set of cloth baby diapers and if you T-Shirt has seen its last day it is time for the rag to go into the art supply box. :) This reduces the need for paper towels greatly.
Fantastic! I have a Sakura set, and I am utterly hopeless with it. I've tried multiple times and it goes wrong every single time, but I keep trying! SO excited for the series and I hope it gets me out of this weird funk I'm in with Watercolor! I love the results of the medium, but I'm so terrible at it! Time to get some tips and practice!
Yeah... 4 years old is old for paint (previous statement is written in sarcastically font) I have paints that are more than 20 years old! Of course most of my better paints were purchased far more recently! Great tips altogether a nice video and helpful.
Can't wait to see the next videos from this serie ! Thanks for all those advice :) Maybe you can also explain how to use a brush with water tank ? Would be great !
Great video, but I wish you spoke about the differences in cotton paper and wood pulp paper too, because it is such a big difference when painting. I personally have a thing for Hahnemühle paper too, but Fabriano Artistico is just as great.
Great serie! I really love series about watercolours. There are always tips I don‘t know. I have a question: what brand is your watercolour sketchbook? I am looking for a good one :)
I jumped right into the store without proper knowledge and bought the rough paper and i havent seen anyone recommend it. I cant start. Hehe im scared. Help
try to paint trees and landscapes, the texture helps a lot with those themes. Or go completely nuts and mix geometry and simple design to make the texture part of the effect, good luck :)
Using tons of paper towels is not very ecofriendly and it also gets soking wet after a couple times cleaning your brush. I would recommend a regular towel ( a small one) which you can then reuse and just wash it every couple paintings. It does get stained tho, so you should take one that you then only use for painting.
Bunny I have 3 very important questions😐: 1. When are you gonna be livestreaming again?🤔 2. Have you fixed the #bbliveart insta page?🤨 3. Which seizes are your 2 da vinci casaneo brushes?😅 Ps: I miss your livestreams and talking to you live😆
For paper, do yourself a favor and get 100% cotton. It's expensive but you can find deals online with coupons etc. Using cheaper papers will only cause major frustration. Been there done that.

The pan sizes are actually half and whole/full pans, if anyone was looking to buy them or to buy separately to add their tube watercolour paint into.

Super Helpful!
is Winser and Newton a good brand of watercolor?
You can also get liquid, powder and cake watercolor. There is quite a few types not just two! :)

Will you start your livesteams again soon?
Why didn't you add the golden glitter watercolor pallet?

I have found that the Masters touch watercolor paper pad is horrible. Do not buy it.
