    If you were to remove the inductor would the process for finding the transfer function remain the same?

    • @ElectricalEngineeringAuthority
      @ElectricalEngineeringAuthority  4 года назад +1

      Yes. So you still need to find Vo/Vs as your transfer function. If you remove the inductor then you won't have LS there anymore.

    nice explanation !!! But is it possible to find the values of R, L and C from the transfer function ?

    • @power-max
      @power-max Год назад +1

      Not in general I don't think.
      Suppose you find the transfer function of a simple voltage divider with no load on the output. It should simplify down to just a constant ratio determined by the R1 and R2. You can determine the ratio of these resistors but not the absolute value of each one, as that information was lost.

    hello, the K in the voltage source stands for what? is it a constant or kilo?

      It is a constant

      @@ElectricalEngineeringAuthority Looking at this from the perspective of a filter circuit the K term would also be the gain at 0 frequency or DC gain correct? This could be seen as a passive 2nd order low pass filter circuit

      I thought it must be like this
      (Vo-KV(s)/2+s) + (Vo/4) + (Vo/10/s) = 0 then
      (Vo-KV(s)/2+s) = -(Vo/4) - (Vo/10/s)

    Could you combine the parallel resistors and then apply voltage divider rule to find H(s) as well?

    • @purplegk6
      @purplegk6 5 лет назад

      SizeableVermin I did that. But ended up with a different answer.. 4K/6+s

    • @Jnglfvr
      @Jnglfvr 4 года назад

      The resistors are not in parallel. But you can combine the 4 ohm resistor with the parallel s/10 capacitor and do voltage division and get exactly the same answer. Simplify the following:
      H(s) = K*(40/(4*s + 10)/(40/(4*s +10) + 2 + s))
