- The Force 1.0 is a fully automated DMX lighting controller. The light show you were just viewing was created in real time. In this demonstration the Force 1.0 is controlling both Primary Fixtures (all moving heads and everything mounted on the truss) along with Secondary Fixtures (all Uplights). All Secondary Fixtures are operating in Wash Mode.
Well done, this is what I been waiting for.
Amazing!!!!
Thanks David!
Moving head movement seams harch, like it receives a new signal before finishing the last
The ADJ 3D vision plus lights look AMAZING. How do they hook up, do they need anything other than the Force 1.0 to control them. That set up and show is my goal, very impressive. Great Job on the light show, thanks for listing your lights used
ADJ sells locking brackets to hold the panels together to eliminate any spacing between them when mounted side by side. Those panels also have RJ45 connectors instead of the traditional 3-pin XLR for DMX connections. So you just need to grab a DMX adapter to go from XLR to/from RJ45….easy to find from Amazon or a million other places.
Aside from that, nothing else to consider. The Force 1.0 can control them directly. Thanks for the comment!!
Great DEMO, where can I buy those cubes ? looks amazing!
Thank you! Those are American DJ 3D Vision Plus panels. You should be able find them through normal ADJ distributors.
it would be cool to see how it reacts to something without a constant 4/4 tempo. maybe live music such as grateful dead, dave matthews band, phish, goose, etc.
We’ll try and find some royalty free music with an interesting time signature to post. The trouble with bands like Dave Mathew’s, Phish, etc., is the copyright regulations associated with their music.
In the meantime, the intro to this one has some more interesting syncopation until it jumps back into 4/4:

Is there a function in this device to set some front Lights and to set the output of a fog machine?
Yes, there is an “FX HIT” button that can be mapped to any fixture(s) such as fog machines, hazers, cold sparks, etc.
An upgrade is coming out end of first quarter, 2024, that will allow up to 6 fixture group allocations. Each fixture group can be independently turned on/off or set to Wash mode (for a more consistent light output for front light applications as an example). Tons of other features rolling out with this update as well.
How long till the release? Saw a video about this like a year ago.
First set of units will ship out in mid/late August this year.
Will you be at DJX?
