An informative squeegee blade video. Cutting down blades gets the most use of them, I do up to 3 cutdowns. The 18" is always new, Unger green is used and it's price reflects the high quality. Moerman tools are used, the tips do get worn quicker. Recently I started cutting the blade 90°. If the cutter blade doesn't perform as well flip or change it. The very last cut is for a 4" detail squeegee, not used on glass
For cutting down used blade cut 3/4 to 1 inch off the end. Moerman blades i suggest cutting a 90°edge, theres less tip flex. For storing squeegee a milk crate with two stakes attached to the middle, this holds all the squeegees blade up.
