I'm a new Memphis enjoyer, having only jumped on board with the singles from this current run and gone back to the last album (which is so good), and I think you nailed it; they might seem like your pretty standard, kinda generic Octane-core ish band at first glance, but they do so many cool little things and nuances within that formula that you're never bored with it and it doesn't totally come off as something you've heard a million times before. Helps that Matty is a great vocalist tying it all together.
