Nepal is firmly on my bucket list. The main thing stopping me from going there for my next trip is the fear of getting severe traveller's diarrhea or food poisoning which I understand happens to most visitors :/
At least have a cure of probiotics for a week before going. It will protect a bit, along with other measures. Last time I went to Morocco and did not do this cure, I got a severe diarrea. But when I did it the time before, I also drank the same water from the well in the desert, and it did not happen. Also if any health problems, think about local medicines, tibetan doctors are very good, Chinese medicine, and ayurvedic too!
I was born and raised in Kathmandu, and I never ate at the places vloggers did.. coz there are pretty good decent fancy restaurants you can dine at that can rival those in the West.
