My husband, Karl Tinney, grew up here at Toketee. His father Joseph Tinney was employed by Pacific Power & Light (PP&L) as Power Superintendent and there's a small community of employees and families that reside at Toketee Control. Beautiful area.

Yeah we didn’t do the hike. We just drove around the lake. We passed by it heading up to Crater Lake.

You can climb down to the bottom but it's crazy steep and I haven't done it myself, just watched other people. Maybe next time!

I was told the folks who maintain the falls don't like when visitors go down off of the viewing platform. I've never been down to the bottom either. Sure is beautiful from the viewpoint though!
