Yeah this. There's other guys to watch if you want to do twice as much work. But after a point it's diminishing returns. I love the 100% all in guys but I also love Sam, usually 50% of the work for 90% of the results most of the time (because he's figured that out), especially with a big family - you can do whatever you have time for and get great results!
I can’t get enough of this channel! I watch every single video regardless of my intention to cook or not. Thanks for your amazing and hilarious content!!!
Haven’t used the garlic tube. But not hating it either. One of the best things I like about this channel is how you always put a new spin on something. You are always showing there is more than one way to achieve a delicious meal. Keep up the great work Sam, Chance and Max🤘🏻
And screw that prick who did the moany thing about garlic tube. For certain application tube/jar of choped garlic makes alot of sense. For other not but thats why you should have both. Tomato puree is accepted but garlic tube not :D We all should grow, harvest, Cook and reduce our tomatoes instead of reaching out for a tube of puree.
You guys are the BEST cooking show because you use everyday ingredients that anyone can find and use. Your style gets people to try new stuff!!!! Awesome fun too!
@@CAPTAiNC it is when your cloves are all around the same size as your pinkie finger nail, occasionally ring finger nail because my stupid country exports all the good looking, large perfect fresh garlic. So i too for this reason mostly buy the jar.
I've used that tube garlic for years. I do use fresh garlic but for some recipes the tubes stuff is great. Fantastic sandwich! Keep up the great work, guys!
Lord have mercy, I've watched 4-5 of your videos. I found your London guide to food and now I'm hooked. Y'all crack me up and I definitely am making this sammy soon! Thanks!
There is a reason there are so many different types of garlic. Paste, minced in a jar, dry minced, of course fresh, and one of my favorites, dehydrated sliced. Dude that is the best bottom layer in so many oven simmered dishes I have created. Now that aside, I can't believe you beat me to this. I absolutely LOVE grilled cheese, and have created so many different versions. I also love Lasagna. When I do this one, I will use my local grocer's bread. They have a "Sliced Chicago Italian" bread that grills like nobody's business. Light grill....crispy on the outside cloudy on the inside. Heavier grill, anything from crunchy to crouton. Thank you for this one guys.
Sam (and sons). Thank you so much for these recipes. My sons love to chip in with cooking because of you and they’re 4 and 6. Happiness begins with dinner time
I love that you're real and honest. Using canned or jarred ingredients is what real cooks do.. Not everyone has time to stand in their kitchen chopping every ingredient and what not. A lot of home cooks use jarred and canned products to help speed the process, and why should garlic be any different. I myself prefer the jarred minced garlic because it's already in small pieces and easy to use. Anyone hating on someone for that needs to step back and reevaluate...
I'd of agreed with you for the last 10 years of my little home cooking journey because minced garlic just isn't correct for some recipes where paste works way better, but then recently I bought myself a $20 mortar and pestle to grind dried herbs with. When I tried it with fresh garlic I was absolutely amazed by quickly I could make fresh garlic paste and how much stronger the beloved garlic taste was. Easily the best $20 purchase of my life for all the things I get to use it for. Free life tip if you have one, grow some lemon grass. It is a grass and doesn't require any care if it can grow in your area, with some mortar smashing it's an amazing ingredient.
Love you using the squirty garlic as I am allergic to fresh garlic & raw garlic but can use the puree! You guys are amazing and really got me out of my cooking slump and I am now back to cooking from scratch about 80% of the time :-)
Any chance you have the same reaction to onions? I'm severely allergic to all forms of onions you name it and I'm allergic to it but garlic fresh pureed minced I'm good for it and I literally use like some cloves of garlic every time I cook some stew or sauce lol

Hey Sam Just wanna say that I love your channel, I watch your videos all the time for insanely deliciousness ideas for my future grill that I will buy for my new apartment in Kraków, Poland. I'm originally from Portugal, but been living in Kraków since 2017. All the best for you, Max, Chance and the rest of the Cooking Guy family 😉
Never apologize for using the squeeze tube garlic. The fresh stuff has it's place. Someone complaining about that is like complaining about not making your own chicken stock. Keep up the great work guys!

I bought that garlic paste because of this RUclips channel and it’s honestly been a game changer. I tastes great and if you need garlic quickly it’s the best thing next to fresh garlic.
Might have to try this one out. Our family favorite and very reliably fantastic is the Saucy Pasta with italian sausage, cream, cayanne, parmesane and the bacon bits thing. Oh my. Its a real fan favorite with guests. Also, dead easy to make. I might take steak off the menu tomorrow and do it for Friday night dinner!
