I have been thinking of buying that shop. One would make a pretty penny there as it's the only local shop. It closed down because the whole chain went bust.

I visited June 22, the heatwave, the best brekkie was Hanks, 😢 unfortunately gone, loved the supermarket aswell. My boyfriend hasn't been abroad and wants to visit the plaza for his first holiday, probably later this year, but I think we will be regular visitors off season. I wish you both best of luck in your life abroad x
I've been going to villamartin for over 16 years. The plaza is a great venue. Saw The Liverpool Band there in July. Fantastic Beatles tribute band! Chadwick's next to Willow is the best breakfast in that area. You should try Chemies (Scottish bar) and it's new offshoot next door Malupark. Great times had in those two bars.
Great video of Our local! Some quality restaurants there - Hens Teeth is fab and we’ve had many a nice breakfast in Munchies. We first saw The Cages at the Plaza central stage and enjoyed their music. The supermarket is part of a chain which closed across a wider area, it’s a shame but apart from a pint of milk, it didn’t offer much fresh, quality produce. ( PS I’m sure Karen has already reminded you, it’s Scarlet from Place in the Sun, not Charlotte 😂)
I have visited the plaza a few times, but unfortunately, there has never been any live acts on when there. Last visited August 2023. It's not local for us, as our holiday home is in Almoradi, but I do love the setting, and it's definitely worth the drive now and again. I have always wondered who would want to live overlooking the plaza, as it's very noisy of a night. But I guess some people would like that, just not me. Only visited at night so never tried breakfast there. Our favourite breakfast location is Tommy's @ Benimar.

We are looking to buy an apartment next year and are coming out over the New Year period 2023/24! We are booked in to stay at the Marina apartments in Torrevieja marina. Looking at the area there are some nice restaurants and bars their like The Ship Inn and Moby Dick and some do a Menu Del Dia. Any chance you can do a review around the Harbour? I tried searching some videos on RUclips but found very little content on the area. Thanks, Mark and Lyndsey. South Yorkshire. :) Keep up the excellent work!!!
We had a great little supermarket in Dona Pepa Quesada it did a roaring trade but closed early this year. I don’t think the small ones can compete with Consum or mercadona .Shame .
