Forgyy, I’ve always been so intimidated by fire mage but after watching Poptart Corndog this race and seeing you defy the meta and blast, I decided to try and learn it. Not saying "PF/IB" but Phoenix's flame/Fire blast would help so much, not every one is that familiar with the spec. Making a guide and not thinking about new people that get in the spec will make many people unmotivated to try fire :/

I show two different m+ builds in this video, both are good, you can play whichever you prefer. Follow single target rotation and change Pyroblast to Flamestrike at 5+ targets

you play the single target build and just play single target rotation. If there is a mix of 3-4 and 5+, then take the flamestrike page i showed and just swap flamestrike to pyro below 5 targets
How do you feel about Fire mage being a lot simpler than before? It gave me whiplash to go from SKB Dragonflight Fire to current Fire. I’m split on it-I loved the complexity old Fire had, but this iteration is pretty chill and can be fun with how mobile we are now. Although the current gameplay is very enjoyable in its own way, sometimes I do miss the satisfaction of mastering old Fire.
you pretty much captured my feelings towards it. I miss the complexity and skill expression but its nice to have such a chill build. I'm sure when SKB comes back it'll be still as complex or even moreso if its frostfire SKB

i thought it might be initially during beta tbh but it seems not needed at all just cuz u are already flooded with resources and the extra 2s of combust + mastery gain is pretty valuable due to how strong combustion and ignite is rn
thats not actually true, you still generate heating up and hot streak during HT, so you can still generate spheres during HT, and Glorious does not block sphere generation or anything like that
the difference between ignite and flamestrike is two talents. Calling them two different builds is extremely weird and fake to me. Its the same build in my eyes, one just drops 2% ST value for a bit more aoe, doesnt matter which one you play because they are almost identical
its up to you as long as you choose 1 of the two shown builds pretty much. They are both fine and good, living bomb build does slightly less ST tho. I cant tell if youre gonna get screamed at because i am not the pug leaders/community. Fire is strong, people are stupid
Where does keeping improved scorch uptime fall on the priority list when in combust? It feels nice to refresh it with a heat shimmer proc but unsure if I should be hardcasting a scorch during bust just to keep uptime on it
I use to hard cast it but just use it if everything else is on CD the last thing you want is a FB cause cast time too slow. Definitely use scorch below 30% hp because you get all the perks scorch has. Also you will have to figure out if you want improved scorch or Scald improve boast dmg over everything else and scald lets your scorch hit for like 300% dmg, either way you go is t but improved prob slightly better because 14% to all dmg
You probs shouldnt be playing heat shimmer as explained in the video cuz its just neutral on ST and loss in AoE. Priority of refreshing improved scorch is just below IB and Empowered PF. So go through those first before you worry about improved scorch.
@@keithburgess5456 Scald should never be considered. Scorch is a terrible spell right now that does no damage even with 300% amp. Its only value is improved scorch and still it is not worht permanently refreshing it regardless of conditions - check my other reply ^^
All are fine and you should play what you are b est at/enjoy most unless you are doing world first keys. Stop worrying about what is "stronger" when the differences are 1-5% because it doesnt matter / affect you

Making a video, talking about in depth class knowledge, playing the game and trying to remember niche words like resort in a second / third language seems like a rather tall order =D
ohh I gotta give you a suggestion for future videos. I had to stop after 2 mins purely cause you jump around while inspecting talents. Motion sickness right away. I know not everyone have that problem, but it was a problem for me. Just a friendly suggestion for next videos

I did aswell. Then I invested in a shitton of haste with double socket rings and big enchants. I’m at 19k haste with flask at 613 ilvl and it starts to feel good. Khael also states that fire starts to feel good at ~30% haste. Try to get as much as possible. My haste sims as good as int. that’s how good this stat is for us
I've been trying to figure out what IB is and I cannot find it. It's been mentioned every four words but I don't see anything that matches the letters.
@@Kitfox_ to prevent accidentally hardcasting pyroblast due to our procs being granted from spell landing instead of spell cast. So if a boss is further away you have a chance to queue a hardcast instead of instant if you're standing still
Phoenix Flames... You have 3 rotation spells as fire and everyone uses acronyms because saying the full names every time makes it very tedious and you end up with 40 word sentences instead of 10. I understand with IB / Fire Blast but PF is common sensical.

Why change to frost? I main frost and see arcane pumping higher in raid/m+.

Is Living Bomb build big DPS loss? I really like the fantasy of it, but I wouldn't want to lack too much in damage.
There are viable bomb builds for keys, the one that was shown is pretty good for keys. Nothing much worse than the others or better than others but ya
